Rhian Brewster hasn't touched the ball, but what a pass that was to Oli McBurnie.

I can't believe that doesn't go in, it's a great move but yet again Sheffield United can't score.

Final Blades change sees John Lundstram replace Chris Basham. West Ham also make a change, sending on Manuel Lanzini for Pablo Fornals.

We're seeing a different Premier League season and everyone is beating each other. I think Sheffield United will be really concerned and the next few games are going to be key.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 75 mins

    Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

Yeah, things are really not going Sheffield United's way. McBurnie is set in on goal by Brewster. He charges into the box, gets the ball out of his feet and fires a rising shot that slams against the bar and pings away to safety.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 72 mins

    Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

West Ham continue to be the more threatening side. Declan Rice rises highest and plants a header from a corner against the bar.

Sheffield United just haven't responded to going behind.

    Sheffield United 0-1 West Ham

Thing is, Sheffield United haven't been comfortably the worst side in any of the games I've seen them in this season. They're always competitive. But whereas the momentum was with them last year, they can't seem to get the ball rolling this time. It doesn't help when you so struggle to score goals.

They could be done and dusted here, though, as Haller pokes an effort wide from close range after being found by Masuaku's low cross. Came at him too quickly and his touch let him down.

Nick Holden: Mr Hartley (15:08) might change his mind in a couple of weeks once one or two more teams have caught Leeds up. To be fair to the bottom teams not many games this season haven't been "competitve" apart from Villa / Liverpool and Man Utd / Spurs. So who drops out?

West Ham looking the more dangerous. A corner falls at the feet of Declan Rice, who is surrounded with his back to goal. The Hammers midfielder swivels and shoots but can't get his effort through the tangle of legs.

Josh Rowe: With modern football the way it is, how long can loyalty keep Chris Wilder in a job?

They can't sack him. No way. I get that modern football offers plenty of examples of it happening, but they'd be worse for doing so.

I mean, I could not have timed that much better, right? Almost as well as Haller's hit.

    Sebastien Haller

    Hahaha! I'll shut up!

I did say he couldn't be a bad player. The ball breaks to Haller as Pablo Fornals is tackled on the edge of the box and he absolutely lashes a rising drive into the top corner.

    You're welcome West Ham fans.

Haller can't be a bad player. He's scored goals in Germany. But he's just not quite up to the speed of it all when I see him. Doesn't mix it like he should. I mean, it could well be that West Ham simply don't play to his preferred style. He is tasked with doing a lot of the Andy Carroll type jobs.

Looking at the premier league table at the bottom, I'm actually in favour of cutting the number of teams, less games, more competitive.

    Mr Hartley, Leeds.
