    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

There's a break in play because Bukayo Saka has a bloodied nose that needs to be dealt with.

Just under 20 minutes to go. Tottenham haven't had a shot in this half but, as things stand, they are under no pressure to try and attack really.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

A change for Tottenham as Ben Davies comes on for Giovani Lo Celso. Rob Holding isn't happy with Lo Celso's stroll off the pitch and tries to hurry him up.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 67 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

Best chance so far for Arsenal as Alexandre Lacazette meets a cross from the right and flicks a header towards goal that Hugo Lloris does well to push the correct side of his far post.

A goal for Arsenal soon would really set up an interesting finale.

  7. 'Hojbjerg and Sissoko are so effective'published at 17:54 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2020

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is so good - he's been outstanding. In games like this you see how important he is because Tottenham are not dominating possession so they're having to defend. Him and Moussa Sissoko just sit in front of that back four and do a brilliant job. They're so effective.

How good is Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, by the way? He is popping up everywhere, getting back to help out in defence and win the ball in midfield. He has been key to Tottenham's ability to frustrate Arsenal.

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal just need to work the goalkeeper - the only chance or opportunity they've had has come from a free-kick, which Alexandre Lacazette flicked on and it was a comfortable save from Hugo Lloris. But they're not working the goalkeeper.

  11. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

There's been plenty of good build up play from Arsenal this half but nothing in the final third. Still just the one shot on target for the Gunners.

  12. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

Kieran Tierney has the slightly awkward task of taking a long throw down by the corner flag with the Spurs substitutes - Gareth Bale among them - warming up next to him. There's no japes to try and put him off, though, but the throw is cleared anyway.

  13. Postpublished at 58 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

Tottenham win their first corner of the second half which Son Heung-min whips in. It is headed back out to him before he tries to pick out Steven Bergwijn on the edge of the area but the ball is cut out.

  14. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

This is better from Arsenal, who have Tottenham back deep inside their own half but you feel Spurs will be happy to soak it up and try again with another suckerpunch on the counter.

Arteta is a nice guy but things are obviously not working out, people will say a new manager needs time but time is running out!!

Let's hope Arsenal have Big Sam's number. They look like they might need him this season.

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

Good start to the second half by Arsenal but again Tottenham are a danger on the counter as they break quickly through Moussa Sissoko but his floated ball into the box is stabbed back to Bernd Leno in the Arsenal goal.

  18. 'Kane and Son's partnership is just getting better'published at 17:37 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2020

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

    Clinton Morrison
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Spurs have been excellent - there was a doubt about Harry Kane but he was never going to miss this match he's so important to Spurs, they need to keep him fit for this season. As for Son Heung-Min he has been outstanding, he is just as good as Kane and the partnership is blossoming and it's just getting better.

  19. CLOSE!published at 50 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang gets up to meet Kieran Tierney's cross but heads over the bar from eight yards.

Just two goals for the out-of-form striker this season. The Aubameyang of last season would have buried that.

  20. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 Arsenal

An early free kick for Arsenal as Dani Ceballos is fouled on the right side of the box. Bukayo Saka whips it - good delivery - and there's a little flick on to take it towards goal but Hugo Lloris gets down to make the save.
