    Tottenham 0-0 Leicester

Tottenham have already seen more of the opposition box in the opening four minutes today than they did in the entirety of their game against Liverpool.

Son Heung-min has the chance to put in a couple of free-kicks but both are cleared away.

Spurs midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has recovered from that knock and is more much more freely, nutmegging Jonny Evans in the final third.

    Waheeeeeey.

    Tottenham 0-0 Leicester

An early injury concern for Spurs and Tanguy Ndombele is challenged from behind by Wilfred Ndidi and takes an age to get back to his feet.

It looks like an issue with his ankle for the Frenchman.

    Steve Sidwell
Former Chelsea midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

You see how Leicester have been in recent years with the counter attack, and how Jose Mourinho has Spurs happy to be without the ball. This will be interesting to see how it pans out. Jonny Evans will be key for me today.

    What a combination this is.

All but five of Tottenham's 25 top-flight goals this season have been scored by Son Heung-min (11) or Harry Kane (9).

Kane and Son have scored and assisted 12 of those goals, one short of the all-time record for goal combinations in a Premier League season, set by Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton for Blackburn in 1994-95.

  10. 'We needed the three points'published at 14:03 Greenwich Mean Time 20 December 2020

    Brighton 1-1 Sheffield United

    Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton forward Danny Welbeck to Sky Sports: "It [his goal] couldn't have been more important in terms of circumstances the way the game went today - we needed to get the three points.

"I can't fully remember what happened [the chance at the end], these things happen in football but we've got to focus on ourselves and see what we can do to improve next game.

"We know we've got to put the ball in the back of the net to get the right result - it was a good finish by Jayden Bogle but we know we've got to do better in these situations and finish the game off.

"It's difficult - each game in the Premier league is but once they went down to 10 they sat back, and wanted to get us on the break. That makes it more difficult for us and we needed to be more decisive and accurate with our final pass and cross.

"Obviously going behind it's good to get the goal back, but with the circumstances and them having 10 men we really wanted the three points today."

A point doesn't do much for Sheffield United's plight - and Brighton are only two points above the drop zone too.

Still, every point counts. Especially when you've only got two.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium looks marvelous, a vast, modern setting with giant screens in each corner.

It's just a shame no fans are in for a meeting between two title challengers (?)

Thanks Tom, could have been an almighty re-write that.

Been looking forward to this one, hopefully Jose feels more compelled for his side to come out today, more so than they did at Anfield during the week.

How has that not gone in?

United then still have to scramble a third shot away.
