The Blades' fall has got to be the worst in premier league history. How has he not been sacked yet?

    Joe, Villa fan

I would hate to see Sheff United go down. Lovely club and a great manager. Arsenal have fickle fans and the board are disillusioned with their ambitions.

The rain has stopped in Brighton and in fact the sun is now out. Earlier on Graham Potter had to put in a sprint down the sideline, while carrying a coffee, to avoid a particularly heavy downpour.

It was a great effort. Zero spillage.

Sheffield United are winless in their last 12 Premier League away games (D2 L10), losing each of the last eight in a row.

The Blades last lost nine consecutive league games on the road between August-November 1975 when also in the top-flight.

I'll have a word with the Premier League and see if we can get a game to kick off at 7am for you next week mate.

Chris Adams: I’ve two kids under two and have already been up for the best part of 6 hours this morning, so 11am isn’t early. I just hope my efforts are rewarded with a win from West Brom this evening. Just not sure I’ll still be awake to see it!

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder: "Every game is an opportunity to win - but we haven't done that so far. We came back in midweek against a top side and we need to be error free.

"The boys are in good spirit and so they should be. We've got to turn it around quickly.

"Belief and confidence comes back into a team through good performances, we did that against Manchester United and we need that again today.

"Rhian Brewster has been knocking on the door, it has been difficult to pick the side and the time now is for him to play in this game."

Brighton boss Graham Potter: "Tariq Lamptey has a problem with his hamstring and it would be three games in a week for Danny Welbeck so we will use him at the end of the game, not the start.

"Robert Sanchez has got all the attributes to be a top goalkeeper, the one thing he lacks is games and experience. It's our job to help him.

"It's a game we want to win, an important game, three points for both of us would be handy. The past doesn't matter, they will be up for it, be aggressive, they are not a team who have been losing heavily."

Oooof there's a lot of subs to get through these days. If you're not injured and not making a nine-man bench these days it's probably best to give your agent a text.

Three changes for Brighton as Veltman, Maupay and Connolly come in for Lamptey, Alzate and Welbeck. They'll miss Veltman's pace.

Brighton: Sanchez, White, Dunk, Webster, Veltman, Bissouma, Lallana, March, Connolly, Trossard, Maupay. Subs: Mac Allister, Gross, Jahanbakhsh, Alzate, Welbeck, Steele, Zeqiri, Burn, Molumby.

Looks like someone left a red sock in with the whites wash. Nightmare.

Rhian Brewster and John Lundstram come in for Sheffield United as the injured Sander Berge and Oliver Burke make way.

Sheff Utd: Ramsdale, Baldock, Basham, Egan, Robinson, Stevens, Lundstram, Ampadu, Fleck, Brewster, McGoldrick. Subs: Sharp, Mousset, Lowe, Burke, Jagielka, Norwood, Bogle, Verrips, Osborn.

It was another defeat in midweek to Manchester United - but the Blades at least made a game of it in a 3-2 loss.

"If we produce what we produced (on Thursday), I think everybody in the club that has the ability to affect results will believe that that will pick up points, those type of performances," Wilder said.

"Now the challenge is to take that on and add a big performance to try to get a big result."

Tariq Lamptey was a fitness doubt for Brighton and the flying right-back is NOT fit. He's out of the squad as the Seagulls make three changes from the side held by Fulham. Joel Veltman, Neal Maupay and Aaron Connolly all come in.

Sander Berge picked up an injury against Manchester United and sits out for the Blades. Rhian Brewster and John Lundstram both start.
