Sheffield United are winless in their last 12 Premier League away games (D2 L10), losing each of the last eight in a row.

The Blades last lost nine consecutive league games on the road between August-November 1975 when also in the top-flight.

Brighton boss Graham Potter: "Tariq Lamptey has a problem with his hamstring and it would be three games in a week for Danny Welbeck so we will use him at the end of the game, not the start.

"Robert Sanchez has got all the attributes to be a top goalkeeper, the one thing he lacks is games and experience. It's our job to help him.

"It's a game we want to win, an important game, three points for both of us would be handy. The past doesn't matter, they will be up for it, be aggressive, they are not a team who have been losing heavily."

It was another defeat in midweek to Manchester United - but the Blades at least made a game of it in a 3-2 loss.

"If we produce what we produced (on Thursday), I think everybody in the club that has the ability to affect results will believe that that will pick up points, those type of performances," Wilder said.

"Now the challenge is to take that on and add a big performance to try to get a big result."

Tariq Lamptey was a fitness doubt for Brighton and the flying right-back is NOT fit. He's out of the squad as the Seagulls make three changes from the side held by Fulham. Joel Veltman, Neal Maupay and Aaron Connolly all come in.
