Declan Rice and Mason Mount - they're friends, you know - are deep in conversation as they come off the pitch. Declan has asked for some new Transformers for Christmas.

All over! An odd game really. West Ham looked the better side for a large period but Chelsea found the finishing touch when they had to.

Another golden opportunity. Clever play from Kante. Werner’s peeled out to the right.

He takes one touch and then hammers it against the bar. He should be burying that, a big, big chance.

How do I justify keeping him in my fantasy team? Head over the ball Timo.

That's the way it's going for Timo Werner! N'Golo Kante slides him down the right of the area, lovely pass, he runs on and thumps a shot at the near post which cannons off the crossbar and into the stand.

    Nailed that.

Andy: We're at that standard point in the season where West Ham's good start falters and we drift gradually down the table, unnoticed, until we're suddenly in a relegation fight. We'll finish 16th.

Paul: What a strange game. WHU the better side for long spells with no cutting edge. Then concede two awful goals in two minutes.

It is, Chelsea haven't been great tonight but they'll take the points now and be fifth at Christmas.

They are going to be six points off top as well.

    Game. Set. And Match.

Lovely link up play, it's clipped into the far post and as the ball drops, Abraham from the angle just pops the ball into an empty net.

He just had to concentrate on the shot. Fabianski thought he was fouled I think.

You have to say, it's harsh on West Ham this scoreline.

Keep plugging away and you never know! Tammy Abraham, and Chelsea, have a fine minute or two to put this game to bed.

Mason Mount's cross looks for Christian Pulisic, his effort is pushed out by Lukasz Fabianski and the ball runs to Abraham who buries from a tight angle.

Fabianksi thought he was impeded by Pulisic but nobody agrees.

And there we go! That should settle it once and for all.

Timo Werner hasn't got a goal but at least that's an assist to his name. He cuts inside from the left, miskicks and duffs his shot but it runs into the path of an onside Tammy Abraham and he can't really miss.

Abraham looked like he may be offside but he was clearly on.

It looks hard work out there at the moment. So many games in such a short space of time, maybe it's taking its toll. It's quite hard work to watch to be honest.

West Ham have an overload at the far post but Cesar Azpilicueta does really well to stop Tomas Soucek from having a free header. West Ham shut out.

Cold Monday night against West Ham, missing your main right winger and full back. Your first choice left back off injured within 10, your other players having to play out of position. This wasn't ever going to be a vintage performance, let's just hold on and get the three points...

Chelsea are dropping very deep. There's not a lot of space in behind.

West Ham have to keep making their runs.

Jarrod Bowen is a cracking little payer isn't he, I really rate him. Does well here to hold the ball up and find Aaron Cresswell on the left, his cross is met by newly-arrived Said Benrahma but he can't get the shot away.
