Another loose pass from Villa is pounced on by Mason Mount. He slips it left to Christian Pulisic, who tries to get the better of Matt Cash but the Villa defender slides in perfectly to make the tackle.

Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has been quite so far, plays a brilliant, floating pass over to Christian Pulisic.

His cross is deflected away but Mason Mount picks up the rebound, dances his way past a few defenders then fires it dangerously over the bar from a tight angle.
