CM: Aubameyang shouldn't have started for Arsenal today. The young players are inclined to play through him too often. In his absence at Chelsea, they trusted their instincts, the team was more fluid, and better able to adapt to the game as it changed.

Ouch! This looks nasty as Craig Dawson accidentally kicks Che Adams in the head as he tries to meet a free kick into the Southampton box. Such an unfortunate incident with Adams falling into the path of Dawson just as he shaped to shoot but fortunately Adams doesn't seem too hurt by it and is up and OK to continue soon enough.

Rob Elmore: As an Arsenal fan I'm glad Maupay and Welbeck are on the bench. Both class forwards for me.

Andy Ross: Sawyers oggy is just like you'd see on FIFA 97 as keepers were so bad.
