BBC Two
Diego Maradona talking to BBC Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker in 2006:
"It was my hand. I don't mean any disrespect to English fans but this is something that happens. I scored goals before in Argentina with my hands. It was a goal that I couldn't reach, Peter Shilton was already there, I couldn't head it so I moved my head back [and used my hand].
"I started running and Shilton didn't see what I had done. The sweeper told him as he is the one who saw my hand. When I saw the linesman running, I shouted 'goal' and I look behind to see whether the referee had taken the bait and he had so that was it. Come on, come on, it was a goal!"
And you can rewatch that superb documentary at 22:00 GMT tonight.

England defender Kenny Sansom, speaking years later: "Nobody talked to Diego Maradona after the game - we wouldn't go near him. Steve Hodge got his shirt after the game and when he came into the dressing room we gave him loads of abuse about it.
"Now it's worth £250,000 so I wish I got it!
"But there was a lot of anger in the dressing room. Three or four men from the FA came in and we were asking them to get the game replayed, saying it was a disgrace. They were just as gutted as we were though, there was nothing that they could do."

"One is a dubious goal, one is a miracle," says England manager Bobby Robson.

Ever wondered what happened to the man who gave the 'handball' goal?
Referee Ali Bin Nasser, now 76, said he had no option but to award the first goal and recalled how Diego Maradona gave him a signed shirt when they met again in 2015.
He was, however, proud to witness the 'Goal of the Century' moments later.
Bin Nasser told BBC Sport: "He took off from midfield, and I was shadowing him closely. When you're refereeing someone like Maradona, you can't take your eyes off them.
"They tried to take him down on three occasions, but his desire for victory kept pushing him forward.
"Every time I would shout 'advantage' until he reached the box.
"I was watching from outside the box, wondering how this player shook off three defenders, and sprinted for nearly 50 metres. I thought 'the defenders will try to take him down now'. I was expecting that to happen and was ready to whistle for a penalty.
"To my surprise, he dribbled past another defender and the goalkeeper [Peter Shilton] to score what would become 'the goal of the century'.
"I'm proud and honoured as a person and as a referee for having played a role in that historical achievement.
"Had I whistled [for] a foul in any of the first three contacts, we wouldn't have witnessed something that magnificent. That advantage I gave is one my proudest achievements."

What a game, what a player.
Diego Maradona. Iconic.

Barcelona manager Terry Venables on BBC World Cup Grandstand: "For the first goal, Peter Shilton should have come out and clattered the man and the ball. He was slow off his line.
"You can't blame the linesman as I thought Diego Maradona headed the ball. His hand was up but it looked like a header."

And that is it!
Argentina are into the World Cup semi-finals, and all because of one man.
Diego Armando Maradona.
Argentina 2-1 England
John Barnes is tormenting Argentina now, but the South Americans scramble back and loft it forward to Diego Maradona, who wins a free-kick and uses up some valuable seconds.
Argentina 2-1 England
That was so close! Agonising for England and Gary Lineker, he looked certain to score.
Argentina 2-1 England
Gary Lineker is inches away from levelling the score. How did that not go in?
It's wonderful work from John Barnes again on England's left, picking out Lineker at the back post with a superb cross, but the Everton striker can't quite get his head to it.
That might've been England's chance...
Argentina 2-1 England
Diego Maradona is back defending now, taking the ball from Chris Waddle.

Jimmy Hill
BBC Sport pundit
There is no consistency in this World Cup. He should have sent Terry Fenwick off for that challenge. The referee made what kind of decision? He didn't do the obvious thing that millions of people watching around the world would want, even if it is an English player.
Argentina 2-1 England
Ooof!
Jorge Valdano breaks through the England line but is sliced down by Terry Fenwick, who somehow stays on the pitch... absolutely clattered.
Argentina 2-1 England
Good work in the corner from Diego Maradona, winding dow the clock and winning a throw-in for his side about as far from their goal as possible.
Argentina 2-1 England
With that, Diego Maradona suddenly springs into life once more and feeds Carlos Daniel Tapia, who fires beyond Peter Shilton from the edge of the box but watches his effort rebound off the post!
Gary Lineker (81)
England aren't out of this just yet!
Gary Lineker pulls one back for Bobby Robson's side from John Barnes' floated cross.
The Watford winger wriggles down the left and picks out the Three Lions' prolific centre forward, who heads beyond Argentina goalkeeper Nery Pumpido from inside the six-yard box.
That might just be enough to win Lineker the Golden Boot, but does it come too late for England?
Argentina 2-0 England
Diego Maradona has been quiet since that second goal, but you sense his job is done.
Will we ever see a number 10 like him again in an Argentina shirt, or in world football for that matter?
Argentina 2-0 England
Terry Butcher gets his head to a bouncing ball inside the Argentina area, but it's easily taken by goalkeeper Nery Pumpido and time is running out.
