The fans love to see it when someone throws their body in front of it, Antonee Robinson has been excellent. Putting their bodies on the line to try and get a result - it's great to see.

Oliver Camp: We've reached the point in the game where Fulham are starting to enjoy their defensive fight. Celebrating blocks and clearances like goals. Usually a good sign...

Ricology: And suddenly Fulham emerge as a PL team with a proper back line. Just a sniff that LFC is having a bad day triggers the hell out of ordinary teams

Maybe all the injuries are due to Klopp not rotating his team for the last 3 years?

  9. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Fulham 1-0 Liverpool

Fulham are going to get a lot of joy on the counter-attack - there are a lot of spaces in behind.

They've had the ball for a good minute or so here before giving it to Trent Alexander-Arnold, who miscontrols and concedes a corner needlessly.

Liverpool have a free-kick, which is crossed into the box and Curtis Jones has a shot blocked. Fulham get away.

    Fulham 1-0 Liverpool

Scrappy bit of play - a lovely ball from Firmino and Liverpool would've wanted Mo Salah or Sadio Mane in that position. Fantastic save but Jordan Henderson should've scored, great reaction from the keeper but he definitely should've scored there.

  12. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Fulham 1-0 Liverpool

Roberto Firmino spends far too long releasing the ball and Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa nicks it off him before starting an Ademola Lookman counter-attack, which ends in a goal-kick.

Ben Hesford: Even with 2000 fans all I can hear is Henderson screaming at everyone.

Crazy to think that as it stands if United and City win their games in hand, they will go one and two points off the top of the league respectively, despite having really poor seasons. Anyone from about 10th upwards could make the top four as it stands, a great season for the neutrals!

    Liverpool's best chance probably.

Roberto Firmino plays a through-ball to the unmarked Jordan Henderson in the box. He tries to place in the ball in the bottom corner, but Alphonse Areola gets down low to save.

  17. 'Fulham are looking to play into the spaces left by the full-backs'published at 17:50 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2020

    Fulham 1-0 Liverpool

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Liverpool are keeping the ball and gaining a bit of territory. But Liverpool's full-backs, who are naturally quite attacking anyway, they're now leaving those spaces behind. So when Fulham can get on transition and be good with the first two or three passes and be incisive with a bit of pace they will get some joy down the sides of the centre-backs.

Fulham will be looking to play into those spaces and run into those spaces that the full-backs leave.

Half an hour to go. Liverpool have a corner. They have been much better since the restart.

Roberto Firmino heads the corner backwards.

Great defending by Fulham captain Joachim Andersen to block Sadio Mane's cross before it can reach Roberto Firmino.

Mr. E: Are the Liverpool players made of glass this season? No injuries last season and so many in three months, something ain’t right. It ain’t the fixture build up or everyone would have the same problem.

Ian: If having fans at games gives such a boost to the home team, how detrimental will it be for clubs that can't have fans due to Tier 3 restrictions?

I think having no away fans also makes a huge difference. Normally Liverpool fans would be screaming their side on now.
