    Man City 1-1 West Brom

It's shot after shot, set-piece after set-piece for Manchester City.

But still they can't find a way through.

Pep Guardiola's men have been rather patient so far, but that might start to change as the clock ticks down. Less than 10 minutes now.

A mighty effort from West Brom this.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 80 mins

As a West Brom fan, this is the last thing you want to see. One of the world's best strikers, one of the best strikers the Premier League has ever seen: Sergio Aguero!

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

West Brom can't get out, there's nobody upfield to send the ball to.

It's relentless pressure from City. Kyle Walker has seen enough and lets a shot fly, winning a corner from Dara O'Shea.

From that, Semi Ajayi concedes another corner.

Can West Brom really keep this up?

Tambuwal: Based on how this season started, 80 points will be enough to win the title.

Jon Evans: Phil Foden will be a very good player but at the moment he is just too slow on the ball.

West Brom are almost a back six now. They are making sure City don't go through the heart of them. They want City to take a shot from 20-30 yards out.

Every time the ball comes to the middle of the pitch, you will see four West Brom players across the edge of the box, so they can't pass through them at all. West Brom are still in this game.

Sterling. To De Bruyne. To Foden!

    No.

It's booted clear before Phil Foden can get a shot away, after cutting inside to put the ball onto his left foot.

A long wait for the final whistle ahead here for the visitors.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

It's Slaven Bilic who acts first.

On comes Charlie Austin to bring some fresh legs in attack, replacing Karlan Grant.

No idea what Ederson is up to at the moment. He hasn't seen any action for a while and the camera is firmly fixed on West Brom's penalty area.

    Time for a change...

  13. Postpublished at 67 mins

Signs of changes to come for City, as Bernardo Silva and Sergio Aguero continue to warm up.

Meanwhile, Kevin de Bruyne is the latest City player to be denied by Sam Johnstone from close range.

Benjamin Mendy fails to make a decent connection with a header in City's latest foray into the West Brom penalty area.

Moments later, Phil Foden attempts a spectacular overhead kick.

    They're trying everything...

It would be outstanding if West Brom came away from the Etihad with a point. They are so regimented. It's been really difficult for them to do anything, they haven't had the ball because City move it so well but they just seem happy to get through this part of the game.

  16. Postpublished at 63 mins

Into the final 30 minutes. This would be some point for West Brom, but still a long way to go on legs that have done an admirable amount of chasing so far.

77% possession for City. They really are working the Baggies hard and make it to the edge of the penalty area once again.

But, again, Sam Johnstone is out in a flash to beat Ilkay Gundogan to a throughball. He's having another top night in the West Brom goal.

They're onto you, Davy. I do agree though - it's far more precious to Ajayi.

I guess this way City can say they've not conceded to an opposition player for almost 11 hours now...

Conor: Re: Davy Dwight (21:08) - completely agree, I always think they should favour the attacking player with these decisions anyway, nobody wants an own goal to their name - they're far too strict with the rule.

Luke, Belfast: Sounds like Davy Dwight has Ajayi in his Fantasy Football team.

Leigh: What's the betting Davy Dwight has Dias in his fantasy team?

More good goalkeeping by Sam Johnstone, who races out of his goal to beat Gabriel Jesus - safely back on the pitch - to a ball over the top.

I think Simon might be right.

This is crying out for Sergio Aguero, if he's fit enough.

Gabriel Jesus receives treatment for a knock - could he be heading off pretty soon?
