  1. Aguero must be coming on soonpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2020

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium

Sergio Aguero is having a good warm-up.

I can't imagine it will be long before he gets his chance.

Seems to me that since David Silva left for Real Sociedad, City are even more reliant on the Argentine for his weight of goals - and he has hardly played since June.

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

Well, 10 minutes gone in the second half and so far, so good for West Brom.

Man City win another corner which Nathan Ake attacks and Raheem Sterling is able to connect with the follow-up to force a great stop by Sam Johnstone.

    Great goalkeeping.

Davy Dwight: I might need to see it again but why give it as an own goal instead of to Ajayi? Looked to me that the initial shot was on target and although the deflection caught out Ederson did Dias make a significant movement? Dias won’t want it, Ajayi will. Nonsense.

It's a nice enough cross by Phil Foden from the left, however there's nobody in a blue shirt up to meet it.

City are able to regroup and this time Joao Cancelo's shot forces a corner, but again West Brom hold firm.

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa & Man Utd striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

Pep Guardiola will want the ball moved quicker, he'll want the ball won back quicker as well. That little five second rule that he has. Urgency. Move the ball quicker. Move their team across the pitch.

  6. Postpublished at 50 mins

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

Nope, Matt Phillips' set-piece is cleared.

But what's this? West Brom come right back at them and a ball back into the box causes some concern before it's eventually gathered by Ederson.

Confident start to the second half by the visitors.

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

West Brom earn a throw-in in the final third after Sam Johnstone's long boot up the pitch.

Jake Livermore then does well to win a corner from Nathan Ake.

    An early chance?

  8. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

Ruben Dias' own-goal was the first goal Manchester City have conceded in all competitions for 608 minutes.

That's got to hurt a little bit.

Fletch Fletcher: City need to stretch West Brom's backline wider and start making more runs towards goal so that they're not just cutting it back to no one every time they go forward.

It must actually be difficult for City to be so dominant yet create so few clear-cut chances.

    Wolves 2-1 Chelsea

    Chelsea

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard to Amazon: "Very [disappointed]. We should see the game out at 1-0.

"If you're not playing well, don't allow counter attacks and we did.

"Performance is what gives you resultrs. We we were playing very well [recently] and maybe the lads think 'we're playing well'. When you think you're playing well, things like this happen.

"This is the Premier League. If you don't perform you lose games."

  12. 'Football is until the last minute'published at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2020

    Wolves 2-1 Chelsea

    Wolves

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo to Amazon: "We were always in the game. We were well organised. In the second half we played really good football.

"In the first half the game was tight, Chelsea had the ball. Second half, the boys believed the game was there to be competitive.

"We were disappointed three days ago. Football is until the last minute. It can happen to any team.

"It's a strange season. We miss our fans today. There are too many voices around the referee and technical staff. Too bad the fans are not here to celebate with us."

On Premier League debutant Owen Otasowie: "He did well. He's been working with us for some time. He's a project we have to work on and try to develop."

Earlier, Wolves came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1.

Here's a bit more reaction to that one before we get going again at the Etihad.

  14. Postpublished at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2020

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

Raheem Sterling's assist for Ilkay Gundogan's opener is his 148th goal involvement in all competitions under Pep Guardiola.

That's 95 goals and 53 assists - and more than any other City player.

    Not bad at all.

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
    BBC Radio 5 live commentator

Pep Guardiola was agitated after that West Brom goal went in. He was on the touchline fiddling with his zip, going up and down, up and down. He was annoyed!

  16. Postpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2020

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

Joao Cancelo received a yellow card for dissent as the players left the field.

A big blow for his side to concede so close to half-time and completely in control in the game.

Can they keep their cool in the second half? They'll need to against a highly motivated West Brom here.

  17. Postpublished at 20:51 Greenwich Mean Time 15 December 2020

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

That West Brom equaliser has now been put down as a Ruben Dias own-goal by the Premier League.

It did take a hefty deflection off the City defender. Gutting for Semi Ajayi though.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45+1 mins

    Man City 1-1 West Brom

City end the half as they have spent much of the first 45 minutes, pushing to get near Sam Johnstone's goal.

But West Brom are rewarded for their hard work and go into the break level.

    Frustration for Pep Guardiola.

GOAL - Man City 1-1 West Brompublished at 43 mins

    Semi Ajayi

    Out of nowhere!

The Baggies have a rare opportunity to send the ball into the City box from a free-kick on the left.

It's initially cleared by City but a second ball comes in and Semi Ajayi does really well to turn and get a shot away.

It might actually go down as an own goal as it takes a big deflection off Ruben Dias and catches out Ederson.

For now it's Ajayi's - and West Brom are back in this!
