New coronavirus cases at the west London club saw Fulham request for the fixture to be postponed and the decision was confirmed just three hours before kick-off.

Later on though, Newcastle United are due to host leaders Liverpool at St James' Park in a 20:00 GMT kick-off.

And that ends a terrific first half at the Brentford Community Stadium.

So good to see that this match has so far lived up to the (Phillip) billing.

Dominic Solanke's strike for Bournemouth was cancelled out by Henrik Dalsgaard's header for Brentford and there could easily have been a few more goals to add to them.

More of the same please after the break!
