This is the first meeting between Wycombe and Cardiff since a 4-0 win for the Welsh side in April 2003.

Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth was playing for the Bluebirds that day.

The Chairboys remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship, but they could leap to within one point of safety with a win tonight.

Cardiff have slid down the table a little following back-to-back losses and could also do with a victory to reignite their form.

Something's got to give at Adams Park.

    Rotherham v Barnsley (19:45 GMT)

    Paul WarneImage source, Rex Features

There's been plenty of talking off the pitch in this first Yorkshire derby between these two sides since 2017.

In a press conference before the game, Rotherham boss Paul Warne claims fears of a points deduction had stopped his "obliterated" Millers calling off Tuesday's derby with Barnsley.

United, 21st in the Championship, have not played since 16 December as Covid-19 cases caused games against Derby and Middlesbrough to be postponed.

On the pitch, Barnsley are just five points off the play-offs and come into tonight's fixture having won four of their last five.

The Tykes are unbeaten in their last seven league ties with Rotherham, a run that stretches back to 1983.

GOAL: Birmingham 0-4 Derbypublished at 77 mins

    Jason Knight

Derby County get the fourth goal their performance deserves.

Kamil Jozwiak cuts in from the right and sends over a teasing left-footed cross which curls in behind the Blues defence.

Jason Knight ghosts in behind right-back Maxime Colin and side-foots home from close range.

A well-worked goal from the Rams which rubber-stamps the result and boosts their goal difference.

League One and League Two update.

Six more games have just kicked off in the EFL - one in League One and five in League Two.

Meanwhile, third-tier Burton Albion are drawing 2-2 at home against fellow strugglers Wigan after just over half an hour.

Jake Buxton's side opened the scoring through a John-Joe O'Toole header before the Latics equalised from close range through Kyle Joseph.

John Brayford put the Brewers back ahead but Joseph quickly levelled again for the visitors three minutes later.

Elsewhere, Stevenage did hold on against Cambridge. Charlie Carters' first-half strike was the difference in Staffordshire. That result means the Boro are now just two points off safety in League Two.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:02 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    Sheff Wed 0-0 Middlesbrough

We're under way at Hillsborough where struggling, and managerless, Sheffield Wednesday are in desperate need of a victory.

  15. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Birmingham 0-3 Derby

This will be a massive result for Derby, if they can close the game out in the final 20 minutes.

Three points would move Wayne Rooney's Rams up to 20th and above Nottingham Forest and Rotherham ahead of their games later.

Both Forest and the Millers would have to win themselves to see the Derby return to the bottom three.

County would also be just four points behind Birmingham in the table.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 68 mins

    Birmingham 0-3 Derby

Derby forward Louie Sibley gets the first caution of the evening for a mis-timed challenge on Blues winger Ivan Sanchez.

That gives the hosts a free-kick in a decent position but Jake Clarke-Salter heads the delivery over the bar.

  17. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Birmingham 0-3 Derby

Better from Birmingham as right-back Maxime Colin comes forward and flashes a shot at goal.

His attempt goes high and wide as he can't wrap his foot around it.

Rams keeper David Marshall is yet to make a save.

Birmingham have no cutting edge in the final third.

  18. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Birmingham 0-3 Derby

Colin Kazim-Richards skews a half-volley well off target on the turn.

The well-travelled Turkey international netted in the first half to take his tally for the season to three goals.

That makes him Derby's outright top scorer.

  19. Norwich hoping to bounce backpublished at 18:52 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2020

    Norwich v QPR (19:45 GMT)

    Teemu PukkiImage source, Rex Features

After a first defeat in five against Watford on Boxing Day, Norwich's match-up with QPR makes good statistical reading for the league leaders.

The Canaries have won four of their last five league meetings with the Rs, keeping a clean sheet in each victory.

And QPR have poor form when it comes to the final fixture of a calendar year. Rangers have won their final league game in just one of the last nine years.

A 2-1 win over Wolves in 2016 the rare exception.

Norwich could go eight points clear of third tonight if results go their way.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Birmingham 0-3 Derby

Maikel Kieftenbeld is the man sent on to replace Gary Gardner.

That's all five subs used by the Blues with an hour gone.

Aitor Karanka will be praying for no more injuries. Or a red card for keeper Neil Etheridge...
