Seth: How is this Leeds United goalkeeper a Premier League goalkeeper? He keeps costing this Leeds team and that's why I don't understand why Bielsa keeps sticking with him!

Rob Pechey: Leeds impressive still in many ways however soooo many miss placed passes. I've never seen anything like it

    Tottenham 3-0 Leeds

Another decent save from Illan Meslier, again it comes after Leeds lose the ball in a careless area about 30 yards from their own goal. Harry Kane ends up with the ball at his feet and from a near impossible angle he rattles a shot which Meslier turns away.

Apparently the goalline technology video says the third goal was 1mm over the line - that's about three-fifths as long as a strand of spaghetti, to continue a theme.

It looked well over in real time, though a Spurs player put the ball in after that anyway.

Leeds send on Pablo Hernandez next.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 61 mins

Credit where it's due - Illan Meslier makes a big save! Steven Bergwijn is found over the top by a great Son pass and his first touch takes him away from the covering defender. Meslier flies out of goal and starfishes to make a very fine save indeed.

Leeds still pushing on and attacking in numbers. Jack Harrison twice almost gets a shot away but Spurs see him out.

Leeds - and me - are waiting for an offside flag that never comes as Son has the whole of the left flank to run into. Surely he was off?

Anyway he's allowed to charge on and try and find Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the middle but a scrambling burgundy shirt clears.

As a neutral I hope that Marcelo does not heed the advice of Matt Andrews. Leeds games are great fun. He might consider a goalkeeper who isn't made out of spaghetti though.

Son now has another shot from range but it deflects harmlessly across the penalty area.

Bob Moss: Leeds being Leeds, they either hammer teams or get hammered. They are never dull, they even make Spurs look exciting.

Matt Andrews: Bielsa needs to suck it up and just defend against these top teams. its like when Villa tried to go toe to toe with good attacking sides last season. Got torn apart. Can't allow them all the time and space in the middle to attack

That was another assist for Son, by the way.

With this score line you'd think Spurs were tearing Leeds apart...

    Toby Alderweireld (50 mins)

That's not great goalkeeping again from Illan Meslier...

Firstly, he seems to be in an odd position from the Spurs corner, and is wrongfooted when Toby Alderweireld flicks on the header towards goal.

Secondly. he gets his body in the way but can only fall back with the ball over the line and in.

Ooof! It's been all Leeds since the restart but Tanguy Ndombele then cannons in a rocket of a shot from the edge of the area which very nearly goes right through Illan Meslier and in.

The keeper gets lucky in the end, juggling it just wide.

    Tottenham 2-0 Leeds

The bad news for Bielsa and co is that literally everyone - including Bielsa and Stuart Dallas - said before the game that Leeds will probably have a lot of the ball but get done on the break by Son and Kane. And that is exactly what happened.
