Starting to look like a classic "Mourinho masterclass".

Floodgates. Could be embarrassing for Leeds & their leaky defence.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min combine for a Premier League goal for the 13th time this season, equalling the record for an entire campaign, set by Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton for Blackburn Rovers in 1994-95.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 January 2021

    Tottenham 2-0 Leeds

Leeds have played well, very well in parts, but Spurs have hit them with the old Kane-Son one-two and are in the driving seat.

More goals to come? I would have thought so.

Son is the 18th player to score 100 goals for Spurs, and the first not from the UK or Ireland. What an effort.

    Son Heung-min (43 mins)

A good watch, but maybe a soft touch and maybe out of this.

Spurs have been on the back foot since they went ahead but they double their lead in incisive fashion. Can I shock you by pointing out that it's another Harry Kane assist?

What a good goal. Won back in midfield, played to Kane who rolls away to the right wing and whips in an early ball.

Son is in front of his marker but onside and clips home the half volley with nonchalance. His 100th goal for the club.

  9. CLOSE!published at 42 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Leeds

They're such a good watch, Leeds. Linking up nicely, stretching Spurs from right to left and back again as the move ends up with Jack Harrison dinking a left-footed curler over Hugo Lloris but on to the top of the net.

The visitors with over 60% of the ball so far as now Patrick Bamford shoots straight at Lloris.

Harry Kane has as many Premier League goal involvements this season (20 - 10 goals, 10 assists) as last season.

Good again from Leeds to find Patrick Bamford in the box, his movement is excellent but Toby Alderweireld stays on track to block the shot.

As bad as it gets for Spurs fans - Harry Kane and Son are both down holding their knee and ankle respectively...

But you can breathe again. They are both back up and moving.

  13. CLOSE!published at 34 mins

    Tottenham 1-0 Leeds

Ohhhh a massive chance for 2-0! He should be at the very least testing the keeper there.

Ben Davies gets down the Spurs left and pulls the ball back for Steven Bergwijn, back to goal, eight yards out. His first touch is a nice turn that wrongfoots his marker, he's free bang in front of the goal but blazes way, way over...

He is only 20. I've seen him make some fine saves but I agree he does look a bit of a scare at times.

Here come Leeds once more though, almost finding Patrick Bamford behind the Spurs lines but it's well cleared before Rodrigo hits a tame shot on goal after great link up play.

    Tottenham 1-0 Leeds

Leeds have conceded more penalties than any other side in the Premier League this season (six). They have been to Old Trafford though.

Leeds started well but they're looking a bit of a mess at the moment as Harry Kane now slides a shot wide when well placed.

    Tottenham 0-0 Leeds

Slack from Leeds, a poor clearance from the keeper is returned, Steven Bergwijn is the wrong side of Ezgjan Alioski and he trips him.

Is it inside the box? VAR checks - yes it is.

Willem Mevius: Looks like it will be a good game, but the lethal Son Kane combination will likely be too much for Leeds.
