Both Saka and Smith Rowe already look like players playing above their years. Smith Rowe doesn't over complicate his play, at times he just keeps it simple, one touch & keep the ball moving. A joy to watch these two lads.

I'm a fan of Steve Bruce, the man, but having watched this Arsenal generally struggle for goals this season, I'm beginning to understand all of the miserable Newcastle fans on 606.

    Arsenal 3-0 Newcastle

David Luiz misses another chance from the set-piece as he's allowed to run free in the box.

He meets the cross from Willian but gets the jump all wrong and ends up shouldering it into the air. Karl Darlow catches it comfortably.

A Premier League debut for Newcastle's Elliot Anderson. He's on for Miguel Almiron.

Nick UTA: Cedric has been great today. Just saying.

Kris Jefferson: If Newcastle don’t score tonight (which looks incredibly likely), they will have gone over 13 hours without a goal from open play. That is shockingly bad, and it’s not from just missing a lot and not being able to put it in. It’s from not creating anything.

Smith Rowe? More like Savile Rowe the class he's oozing. Everything tailored to perfection.

Defeat at Villa on Saturday night must surely be the end for Steve Bruce...if he survives that long.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 82 mins

Just the kind of thing Newcastle want to see... Gabriel Martinelli is on for Emile Smith Rowe.

    Another excellent performance from him.

It was good play by Cedric Soares to the byline, he keeps the ball in play and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang just picks his spot and puts it in. You can see his confidence now is up.

Scott Thirtle: Newcastle under Bruce and Ashley are absolutely clueless. We are a joke of a football club.

Roberto Colombi: Starting with 4 strikers on the pitch and only 4 shots in 70 minutes- Leno hasn’t had a shot to save!

Great play from Cedric Soares down this right-hand side. Newcastle players were saying the ball had gone out - I thought they could be right too!

GOAL - Arsenal 3-0 Newcastlepublished at 77 mins

    Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Cedric Soares gets along the byline, he's stretching to keep it in play but he might just have managed it.

He cuts it back and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang smashes it into an open night.

There's a VAR check but the whole ball isn't out so the goal stands.

It just gets worse for Newcastle...

Steve Bruce needs players. You are only as good as your players and I feel harsh for saying that about the Newcastle players but he can only work with what he has got.

Bruce has tried tonight; he has tried something different, different shapes but he needs players and investment - and he hasn't had that.

Again, space to run into for Arsenal. Bukayo Saka feeds it through to Emile Smith Rowe on the right. He keeps himself onside and tries to find Alexandre Lacazette with an early ball in the middle.

He doesn't get the execution right which is a shame because Lacazette was in. He has his hands on his head because he knows that was a real chance.

A change was needed but I'm surprised it's Andy Carroll that has gone off. Probably the most attacking player, along with Miguel Almiron, for Newcastle today.
