Joe Bryan is shown a yellow card as he clips Mason Greenwood as the Manchester United striker broke forward.

Alphonse Areola produces another good save to deny an Anthony Martial header but again it wouldn't have counted if Martial had scored with the flag up for offside.

Angelo Lambo: I don’t understand the point of having Mitrovic on the bench in a match like this where Fulham are only going to break away on a counter. You have pace on either flank, why use Cavaleiro up front who can’t hold up play, nor finish?

Ben Jones: United have coped with better presses from better sides this season. Almost seem surprised by Fulham's work rate in our own half tonight. We have players good enough to play through this quick and find space, surely. Greenwood and Martial invisible so far.

Fair play to Ademola Lookman, who has responded superbly since fluffing that terrible Panenka penalty against West Ham at the start of November. Every time I see him for Fulham he looks their biggest threat and has been a menace today - he's had four of the home side's six shots.

Dawsey: Martial has had 50 minutes too many today. If we want to win the league make a change now.

Defensive teams now let Harry Maguire win headers at corners - easy goal kick.

Manchester United are pressing high in this half and are almost caught out when Ruben Loftus-Cheek gets the ball deep inside the away side's half. He tries to set Ademola Lookman away but his ball forward it overhit and the opportunity is gone for the hosts.

Bruno Fernandes' close-range header is denied superbly by Alphonse Areola but the flag is quickly up for offside. Wouldn't have counted anyway.

Nice work from Mason Greenwood down the right and his cross is a dangerous one but Joachim Andersen heads away.

Manchester United have conceded first in six away Premier League games this season and won all six. Will the pattern continue today?

Once again, Fulham have started the half the better side and good work down the right sees Ruben Loftus-Cheek away. His cross is a dangerous one but just out of Ademola Lookman's reach.

Fulham attack again soon after but Lookman's shot is not a good one and comfortably held by David de Gea.

Anthony Martial drops his head in frustration as he plays a ball into the box but no-one is onto it and it rolls out of play.

I think he was hoping Paul Pogba would clock it but in truth it was a bad pass.

Fulham have the first opportunity of the second half but Harrison Reed rushes his shot on the edge of the area and smashes it well over.

That's Fulham's first attempt on goal since their opener in the fifth minute.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Fulham 1-1 Man Utd

Manchester United need a win to go clear in first place, Fulham need the points to boost their hopes of survival.

Both sides should be going for it in this half and we are back under way.

Matt Dawson: I like Martial, but he's just not good enough for this team, he's had enough chances now... Also, we've paid 80million for our header scoring CB who can't seem to score a header...

Chris Butterly: Hard to believe if Man U draw with Fulham tonight, 3 teams will be joint top - has that ever happened before??

Anthony Martial gets between two Fulham defenders to meet a cross but he can't keep his header down and the ball loops onto the roof of the net.

Almost all of Manchester United's attacks are coming down the left and they are getting some good crosses in from that area.

Ademola Lookman does well as he is surrounded by three Manchester United players, manages to get away but is fouled by Fred. The free kick is midway inside the Manchester United half but the ball into the box is dealt with comfortably.
