Skully: Same front 3 which dismantled Barcelona. Should be ok...

Going to be a long night for Burnley. That line up is going to run its guts out, keep Burnley busy, then Bobby and Mo to come on at 60 and do some serious damage.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has sprung a few surprises in tonight's starting line-up - there are three changes from the side that drew 0-0 against Manchester United last time out.

Divock Origi and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain get starts with Joel Matip returning from injury to take his place in defence.

Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino are on the bench and Jordan Henderson is not involved at all so Georginio Wijnaldum takes the captain's armband.

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, Matip, Robertson, Thiago, Shaqiri, Wijnaldum, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Mane, Origi.

On the flip side, Burnley could do with three points themselves, for very different reasons.

The Clarets are hovering just above the bottom three. There is a four-point gap between them and Fulham - welcome but far from enough to start relaxing, especially as the Cottagers have been showing signs of improvement of late.

A victory tonight would be a big, big, big result for Sean Dyche's lads. Not just for the three points but the psychological lift that would come with it.

Yes, the Reds have certainly not had it anywhere near as good this season as last. In fact, after what was a spectacular 2020, they're currently winless in the league in 2021 (yeah, so we are only a few weeks in). Their last top-flight victory was that 7-0 win at Crystal Palace, which feels an awful long time ago.

Since then, they've drawn with West Brom and Newcastle, lost to Southampton and then were held at home by the current league leaders.

Feels strange to be writing this, but Jurgen Klopp's side really need a win.

There is quite the game of pass the top spot going on in the Premier League at the moment. Manchester United had it, Leicester took it, Manchester City snatched it for a couple of hours before United nabbed it back.

Currently sitting in fourth, having dominated that top spot for all of last season and flirted with it at times this campaign are Liverpool.

It's Burnley at Anfield tonight. If they lose that six point gap to first suddenly starts to look a bit concerning.
