  1. High-fives for Livipublished at 19:57

    FT: Hamilton Accies 0-2 Livingston

Livingston have wrapped up all the three points here after a comfortable 2-0 win, and it could have been more. That’s now five wins in a row under the new manager David Martindale, and only one goal conceded. Accies were disappointing on home turf...but much of the credit for that goes to Livi, who didn’t allow them to get into the match. After a good win for Hamilton last weekend, they’ll be frustrated not to build on that.

  2. Dundee United 2-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 67 mins

Kilmarnock's recent form summed up by not one, but two players in the box failing to control the ball when they would have had just the goalkeeper to beat.

Nicke Kabamba and Chris Burke both are the culprits. The visitors have had the better of the second half but their problems in finding the back of the net continue.

  3. Motherwell 0-0 Aberdeenpublished at 80 mins

Liam Grimshaw comes to Motherwell's rescue as he blocks Matty Kennedy's close-range header! The Aberdeen man was lurking at the back post and looked as if he was going to break the deadlock.

  4. Four down; two to go...published at 19:54

Victories for Celtic, Rangers, Hibernian and Livingston in the 18:00 kick-offs.

Dundee United are two goals to the good against Kilmanrock at Tannadice, with Motherwell and Aberdeen still goalless at Fir Park.

  5. FULL-TIME Hibernian 1-0 St Mirrenpublished at 19:53

That was a bit of a chaotic game.

In the end, Kevin Nisbet's wonderful goal is the difference between the two sides at Easter Road.

He really should have made sure of the points too, but somehow fired wide in the second half.

Brandon Mason and Christian Doidge were both sent off late on for second bookable offences, with the latter missing his side's visit to Ibrox.

But Hibs are up to third for now, and are unbeaten in their last nine games.

  6. FULL-TIME Celtic 2-0 Ross Countypublished at 19:52

  7. FULL-TIME Hamilton Accies 0-2 Livingstonpublished at 19:50

David Martindale's Livingston march on to another victory as his side sweep aside Hamilton with ease.

After missing several clear-cut chances in the first half, the visitors broke the deadlock through Jon Guthrie's header before Josh Mullin guided in a fine free-kick in the closing stages.

Bad day at the office for Brian Rice's side who failed to register a shot on goal.

  8. FULL-TIME St Johnstone 0-3 Rangerspublished at 19:48 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2020

Barring a big turnaround at Celtic Park, Rangers remain 16 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership after a comfortable win against St Johnstone.

Kemar Roofe, Glen Kamara and Ianis Hagi with the goals and substitute Michael O'Halloran saw red late on for St Johnstone after two bookings.

  9. RED CARD Christian Doidge (Hibernian)published at 90 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 St Mirren

    It's 10 v 10 at Easter Road.

Christian Doidge is shown a second yellow for throwing a stray arm and connecting with a St Mirren player.

    Game on.

  11. Motherwell 0-0 Aberdeenpublished at 67 mins

Both goalkeepers have pretty much been spectators in this second half. The quality in the final third has been, eh, suspect.

  12. Dundee United 2-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 54 mins

An encouraging start to the second half from Kilmarnock. Kirk Broadfoot fires an effort over then Calum Waters sends a header past the far post.

  13. RED CARD Brandon Mason (St Mirren)published at 19:41 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2020

    Hibernian 1-0 St Mirren

You've got to feel a bit for Brandon Mason. Martin Boyle has been at his electric best tonight, and the full-back has been shown two yellow cards for two fouls on the Australia winger.

St Mirren can still snatch a point here, but their job has been made far tougher by the red card.

  14. RED CARD Michael O'Halloran (St Johnstone)published at 19:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2020

    St Johnstone 0-3 Rangers

Michael O'Halloran picks up two yellow cards in quick succession moments after coming on as a substitute. St Johnstone will finish this match with 10 men.

  15. GOOD SAVE!published at 79 mins

    Hamilton 0-1 Livingston

    Scott Robinson could've nabbed a hat-trick tonight.

The former Hearts man is slipped through but his close-range, tame effort is comfortably saved by an alert Kyle Gourlay.

  16. KICK-OFF Dundee United 2-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 19:33

The second half begins at Tannadice. Will United see this one out to secure maximum points or will Kilmarnock apply the smelling salts and claw their way back into this?

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 72 mins

    Celtic 2-0 Ross County

Not for the first time tonight, it's Ross Laidlaw to the rescue for Ross County as he keeps out a shot from Odsonne Edouard after a neat lay-off from David Turnbull.

  18. Motherwell 0-0 Aberdeenpublished at 56 mins

A good chance for Aberdeen as Ryan Hedges gets another chance to cross after his poor corner was cleared. The forward finds Andrew Considine, whose first-time finish is blocked well by Ricki Lamie.

  19. CLOSE!published at 72 mins

    Hamilton Academical 0-1 Livingston

Livingston still well on top here as Alan Forrest cuts in from the left and curls a shot just past the far post.

The hosts are showing no signs of a revival yet...

  20. How has he missed?published at 70 mins

    Hibernian 1-0 St Mirren

I've said that a few times now, but this was the best chance of the lot.

Substitute Drey Wright attempts a left-footed effort from the left corner of the box. He drags his shot fortuitously into the path of Kevin Nisbet for what looks like a tap-in, but he somehow hits it into the side netting.

A real let-off for St Mirren. Will Hibs be made to rue missed chances yet again?
