Luke Shaw is absolutely everywhere at the minute, he's defending on his own six yard box and he's always an option as he was there. He is showing some real energy tonight.

The home side are much more threatening, especially on the counter. A lovely flick to take the ball away from Williams and a driving run from Rashford allows him to set up Pogba with a square ball. The Frenchman takes a touch and then curls his shot just past the post. Alisson was taking no chances with a full-length dive.

Ashwin R: People keep saying Van De Beek needs to start, good talent yes but he needs time to acclimatize. Can’t see what he’s bringing to the team today.

Luke Shaw is having a cracking game. He charges down the left again and links up with Van de Beek for a low drive that Alisson pushes out. McTominay latches on to it on the edge of the box for a shot that is blocked just in front of the Liverpool keeper.
