Shaun Forster: Can somebody justify to me why Everton are putting both centre halves in their own box just to lay the ball off to Pickford at goal kicks?

Game of Throw-ins: As soon as I saw Wilson was one goal away from 50 and Newcastle winless in 8, it was inevitable. Why do we always do this to ourselves Everton?

Neil, Preston: I don't understand Everton fans complaining they are having a fantastic season and anyone can beat anyone this season

Reverend Leroy: I don't dare celebrate until the final whistle goes, the teams are off the pitch, everyone's changed, the players get back on the coach and the lights in the stadium are turned off.

This was a superb header from Callum Wilson. It's his third big chance of the game but finally he's made one of them count and Jordan Pickford had absolutely no chance.

There was a huge roar of relief from Steve Bruce.

You have to say that on the balance of play it's deserved.
