Liam: With VAR offsides, could they not just have a 10cm or 20cm margin of error, with any possible offside call within this - benefit of doubt goes to attacker. I think most fans would agree.
Geoff King: Can someone tell me how the VAR official decides exactly when the ball is kicked in offside decisions? Getting it wrong by 0.1 seconds would make the difference of a few millimetres when looking at the position of the players.
VAR solution - Like DRS in cricket, give each team 1 review a game. If they really feel aggrieved by a decision, they can choose to refer to VAR. If correct, they keep the review. If wrong, they lose it.
