West Brom v Man City (Tues, 20:15GMT)

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

West Brom manager Sam Allardyce is due to speak to the media shortly.

Allardyce is scouring the January transfer market to try and find some players to aid his team's battle against relegation.

Crystal Palace striker Christian Benteke is one of the names to be linked with a loan move to the Hawthorns but a source has told me the Belgian wants to stay at Selhurst Park.

Allardyce has work to do because West Brom are six points from safety - and they have a terrible goal difference.

Will Man Utd win the domestic double?published at 08:48 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2021

Frederick James: An astonishing question in January. Man Utd are frankly (although there form is impressive) not good enough to win the league-Liverpool or Man City to triumph again. I actually believe they will possibly drop out of the top 4.

Having seemingly signed for Fenerbahce an eon ago, Mesut Ozil's move to the Turkish side became official on Sunday.

The midfielder, 32, won three FA Cups with Arsenal and scored 44 goals in 254 appearances in all competitions for them, but had not played for the first team since March.

"It is difficult for me to put into words the love I feel for the club and the fans," Ozil said in an open letter.

"How could I possibly describe eight years of gratitude in a single letter?

"I will be a Gunner for life - no doubt about that."

Below is a 'lifetime award'-like set of tributes from players of winters past.

    Everton 3-0 Sheff Wed

Elsewhere in the FA Cup, Everton eased past Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday to reach the fifth round and saw a teenager become their youngest-ever player.

That player was Thierry Small, who was 16 years and 176 days when he came on the pitch for James Rodriguez in the 85th minute.

The Streets were number one with Dry Your Eyes when Small was born!

  20. 'Don't worry about us' - Klopppublished at 07:44 Greenwich Mean Time 25 January 2021

    Man Utd 3-2 Liverpool

And you know what? His Liverpool team did look far better in attack.

Salah and Firmino appeared sharp, and Thiago was excellent. The full-backs don't seem to be quite firing on all cylinders yet. though.

This is what manager Jurgen Klopp said: "It's not what we wanted, so it's frustrating.

"We weren't on our absolute top [level], but we made a lot of steps in the right direction.

"You don't have to worry about us, as a group we are really together."
