There has been no official confirmation yet, but judging by Everton striker Cenk Tosun's Instagram account over the last 48 hours, he will be making his way back to Beskitas on loan. He was also linked with CSKA Moscow.

Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti said on Saturday that Brazilian winger Bernard was also in talks about leaving the club. He has been linked with a loan move to United Arab Emirates outfit Al-Nasr.

Right-back Jonjoe Kenny is another likely-looking exit with the 23-year-old set for a loan move to Celtic.

  3. Bournemouth's King conundrumpublished at 09:04 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2021

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport

Joshua King has stayed at Bournemouth for the last two transfer windows despite plenty of external interest.

Today it looks like Bournemouth have another decision to make. Their form in the Championship has nose-dived. One point from four games leaves them right on the edge of the play-off places and King has not scored a single league goal.

So do the Cherries cash in now, knowing King can leave for nothing in the summer.

    Southampton are sniffing round.

    Done deal

    A signing, an actual signing...

Norwich City have completed the signing of Norwegian international goalkeeper Orjan Nyland.

The 30-year-old joins on a short-term deal as a free agent for the remainder of the current 2020-21 season.

Nyland was most recently contracted to Aston Villa and was part of the side that gained promotion to the Premier League in the 2018-19 season. He made a total of 36 appearances throughout his two-year spell with the Villa Park club.

Speaking to canaries.co.uk, Nyland said: “I’m really pleased. Finally, the waiting time is over and I’m looking forward to really getting going with Norwich City.

“I’ve had a lot of offers, but when Norwich came along I wasn’t doubtful at all. It felt like the right thing to do and I had good talks with the manager and the goalkeeper coach, as well as the sporting director, so it was an easy choice really."

  8. Bruce hoping to do "one or two things"published at 08:51 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February 2021

    Alistair Magowan
    BBC Sport

Buoyed by a first win in 12 games at Everton on Saturday, Newcastle boss Steve Bruce said: "We hope that we can still do one or two things" in the transfer market.

DeAndre Yedlin's potential move to Galatasaray will create space for a move for Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury, but that will depend on whether the Foxes can get in an attacking replacement.

Talks have been held between the two clubs already and Bruce admitted the 23-year-old is a player he "likes".

Elsewhere, Matt Ritchie has been linked with a move back to Bournemouth. Bruce said the Newcastle wide man is "frustrated he's not playing" and "you can never say never" about a potential move.

Bruce is speaking to the media this morning so we should get a better indication on how likely some of those moves are.
