Liverpool 1-4 Manchester City
Let's be honest, nobody saw this second-half coming.
What an odd season for Liverpool. Took some real hammerings and handed out a few as well.

Liverpool have conceded four goals in a Premier League home match for the first time since 21 April 2009, when the Reds drew 4-4 against Arsenal under Rafael Benitez.
The Arshavin game!

Stop it! Stop it, Phil Foden! That's ridiculous! He absolutely smashes it over Alisson, who was kneeling down - the power beats him. It's straight at him.
Phil Foden (83 mins)
Brilliant! Phil Foden has been superb since he moved out to the right and he now has a goal to his name as well.
Gabriel Jesus finds him, he cuts inside Andrew Robertson, puts his head down and just blasts the ball right through Alisson and into the roof of the net.
On another day that piece of goalkeeping may have come under the microscope but not today...

Exiled Blue: When will keepers learn there is a reason they are in goal and not an outfield player. Just hoof it upfield.
The Robinsons: You have to say it, nobody is catching this city side. They deserve it. Great to see lads like Foden and Stones in the mix. Hopefully they can produce for England in the summer too
Say what you like about Man City, they've been poor today. Alisson has completely handed this to an average City side.

I'm in shock. What am I watching here? What is Alisson doing? He just gives the ball to Bernardo Silva but the audacity to flick it over Alisson was magnificent.
Credit to Manchester City but what is Alisson doing? Incredible.

Loris Karius is on the goalkeepers' union WhatsApp group as we speak.
Alisson has been a brilliant player for LIverpool but he's had a shocker today. Sometimes you've got to get rid!

Josh Earl: 2 Alisson mistakes with his feet in a matter of seconds, so good with his feet apparently... Constantly looks suspect and takes unnecessary risks.
Chris MItchell: Total mess from Alisson but that’s an incredible run and assist from Phil Foden. Up there with Gazza for the best naturally talented English footballer that I’ve ever seen
Raheem Sterling (76 mins)
I'll ask again: ALISSON WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
This is even worse, he passes it straight to Bernardo Silva inside the area now, he chips it across and Raheem Sterling scores with a diving header into an open goal.
A complete goalkeeping fiasco.

It's all come from Alisson initially. He tries to drive the ball out wide but straight to Phil Foden who does ever so well, brilliant desire and brilliant play, and Gundogan is there in almost exactly the same spot he scored from earlier.
Alisson what are you doing?
Ilkay Gundogan (73 mins)
The streak continues! Unreal goalscoring form for Ilkay Gundogan.
Alisson, this one's on you though pal. He plays a poor ball from outside his own area, gets away with it, but when Fabinho passes it back to him a second time he duffs a ball straight to Phil Foden.
There's still plenty to do but Foden does it so well, dribbling into the area, drawing Alisson out and then sliding a pass across for Gundogan to blast in off the bar from a few yards out.

It's so close! It's a wonderful ball from Foden, Stones stretches out and volleys it in off the post but it is so, so tight. Right decision though.
Liverpool 1-1 Manchester City
The fairly anonymous Riyad Mahrez is replaced by Gabriel Jesus, so Phil Foden will go out to the right.

Ooooh this is tight!
City roll a free-kick short, Phil Foden whips in the cross and John Stones cushions a volley in off the post. The flag is up and he's just offside.
Liverpool 1-1 Manchester City
Well played, Phil Foden. He rolls Fabinho and is too quick and strong for him, the Brazilian can only take him out and he's booked.

Ruben Dias has been the model of reliability since he arrived at Liverpool but that was a very expensive mistake. It also came at a time when Manchester City were ahead and in control.
No doubt City have given Liverpool a leg-up there.
Liverpool 1-1 Manchester City
Phil Foden is the latest to tumble in the area, he's swiftly waved to his feet though and Bernardo Silva runs on to the ball and blasts it wide.

Nick_O_Hughes: I'm a red, but that was awful. Not even good enough for amateur dramatics from Salah
There is no way that contact caused Salah to go down like that. Surely that has to be classed as simulation?
