  2. 'Klopp must be alarmed'published at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021

    FT: Leicester 3-1 Liverpool

    John Murray
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator at the King Power Stadium

Jurgen Klopp must be alarmed at what he has seen and the way his team collapsed and crumbled in the last 15 minutes after being 1-0 up.

It is now three consecutive defeats for the champions who are now so far off the pace.

  3. Rodgers deserves praisepublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021

    Leicester 3-1 Liverpool

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I know we have given Brendan Rodgers so much praise but he really does improve players. They understand what they want from him.

Harvey Barnes was a wide player a couple of years ago. Now you see him coming into the little pockets.

You want to see coaches develop players and not just buy somebody ready-made for £120m or whatever. That's what I would want in charge of my football club.

Leicester are back into second as it stands by the way. For long periods they were kept out of the game but they have took their chances so well.

    Leicester 3-1 Liverpool

Liverpool shipped three goals between the 73rd and 83rd minutes against Manchester City, and three today between the 78th and 85th.

What does that mean? I don't know but it's interesting isn't it?

  7. Postpublished at 89 mins

Jurgen Klopp doesn't know where to look. A crazy spell has deralied his side for the second week in a row.

    Leicester 3-1 Liverpool

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Liverpool are feeling sorry for themselves a little bit with the way things have gone against them. It's all going wrong for them, it's going against them.

Three goals, a disallowed goal and a penalty overturned in seven minutes.

    Brilliant action.

GOAL - Leicester 3-1 Liverpoolpublished at 14:12 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021

    Harvey Barnes (85 mins)

More action in 10 minutes than in 10 games. Wilfred Ndidi plays in Harvey Barnes behind an increasingly absent Liverpool defence and he is super cool, just slots in across Alisson and in from the left of the area.

    Clinical!

  11. 'Bad mistake'published at 14:12 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021

    Leicester 2-1 Liverpool

    John Murray
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator at the King Power Stadium

It's one of Alisson's strengths coming out of his penalty area and taking command. He collided with his own man and it fell perfectly into path of Jamie Vardy. The way that conspired against Liverpool is quite extraordinary. That is a bad mistake.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 84 mins

    Leicester 2-1 Liverpool

Alisson the enigma - he's just cost his side a goal and now he makes a ludicrously good save to leep them in the game!

He saves one shot from Harvey Barnes, it runs across to Jamie Vardy about eight yards out and it must be a goal. He strikes it well but Alisson somehow pushes it against the post and away. Must have been close to crossing the line!

    What is going on...

  14. goal

GOAL - Leicester 2-1 Liverpoolpublished at 14:08 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021

    Jamie Vardy

    Wow!

We've had it all going off in the last few minutes. Leicester just clump a long ball over the top, debutant Ozan Kabak and Alisson get into a right old tangle and collide, leaving Jamie Vardy with the simple task of running into an open net.

Alisson was at fault there - again - for me. He came miles out of his area needlessly...

    James Maddison (78 mins)

    GOAL STANDS!

The lines were drawn, someone's toe was deemed to have played Daniel Amartey onside and we are now level.

What a crazy minute or so!

  17. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 78 mins

    Leicester 0-1 Liverpool

Almost the most temporary of reprieves!

James Maddison snakes the free-kick into the goalmouth, it is missed by everyone and ends up in the back of the net.

Daniel Amartey tried to get on to it and the flag goes up.

  20. PENALTY to LEICESTERpublished at 14:03 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February 2021

    Inside or outside?!

Harevy Barnes darts between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Thiago and goes down. Right on the line...
