    Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed midfielder Ilkay Gundogan complained of a tight groin, which is why he came off.

    He will be checked tomorrow.

    As for Sergio Aguero, who was on the bench today but did not even warm-up, let alone get on the pitch, Guardiola said this: "He is OK. Yesterday he had a tough training situation.

    "We have to take things step by step. As soon as he gets a bit of physical condition and he has the chance to play, he will play."
