    Christian Benteke

This is an absolute smash and grab. Genuinely unbelievable.

Jordan Ayew charges forward for Palace and feeds it out to Andros Townsend. He does a couple of stepovers and crosses for Christian Benteke, who watches the ball drop from the sky and volleys it into the bottom corner past the keeper.

Brighton's billionth corner of the game but Danny Welbeck and Dan Burn both fail to connect.

    Brighton 1-1 Crystal Palace

I thought that was the moment. Danny Welbeck controls a through ball and lays it off to Alireza Jahanbakhsh. He looks like he should finish but there is Gary Cahill to block his shot.

Brighton just tried to force it then. They needed to keep the ball, keep tiring Crystal Palace out because it just takes one minute of them switching off. You just need to keep moving Crystal Palace as much as you can.

    Brighton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Brighton must be a frustrating team to support. They dominate nearly every game I watch and create loads of chances. But then they usually draw or lose.

    Brighton 1-1 Crystal Palace

Brighton are still dominating but it's not the non-stop pressure it was for about 15 minutes solid. Getting tired.

    Brighton 1-1 Crystal Palace

11-0 on corners now, it's not great though and Eberechi Eze counters. Joel Veltman takes one for the team to stop his run and gets booked.

They have really gone for it, there's been more energy, but it's the same story for Brighton - chances and not putting it in the back of the net. Crystal Palace have been really resolute.

Brighton's final change as Alireza Jahanbakhsh replaces Pascal Gross.

Dan Burn, basically an English Jordi Alba, clips the ball into Leandro Trossard, who can't quite control it.

Crystal Palace have their first shot outside of the goal! Christian Benteke hurdles a couple of tackles and shoots high and wide from the edge of the box.

Matt Dawson: Brighton brought on a natural striker in Danny Welbeck, and they now look so much better in attack. Their chances are much closer, the hold-up play is better. Almost like a player who can finish a final ball is what Brighton need.

Roger: what's the point of having a player like Eze if you're just gonna have him jog around playing an area of the pitch. How many touches has he had? Any old carthorse would do.

It's 23-1 on shots now. Brighton have only hit five on target though. Textbook Brighton this season really.

Crystal Palace are getting tired now and sloppy. Adam Lallana, with his standards, minimum he needs to be hitting the target.
