Chelsea v Sheff Utd (13:30 GMT)

Paul Heckingbottom has told his Sheffield United side their shock win at Manchester United proves it is possible to knock Chelsea out of the FA Cup.

The Blades, the Premier League's bottom side, sprung a major surprise in January when they won 2-1 at Old Trafford, inflicting the hosts' first defeat in 14 league matches.

Chelsea are unbeaten in 13 matches in all competitions under manager Thomas Tuchel, while Sheffield United have lost five of the past six matches.

"Chelsea's win against Atletico Madrid shows the size of the task. But it's also a one-off game," says Heckingbottom.

"Everyone wrote this team off before they went to Old Trafford and pulled off the win there. So we know the size of the task, but we also know it's possible. That's it, simple.

"If we didn't think it was possible, we may as well give them the round.

"It's a fantastic experience, a great game to play in and they don't come around very often - no matter how long your career is, quarter-finals of the FA Cup don't come around often."

Anyone backing Sheffield United? Hmmm, didn't think they would be too many of you. Some bookies have the Blades out as far as 14-1. Worth a fiver?

Funnier things happened. And they already have this season...

Former Chelsea defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Very impressive from Thomas Tuchel - being a defender I love talking about the statistics about clean sheets, that's what perks my ears up - I love that. He's got them solid and they just look like a good team.

Everyone is hustling for the ball, the work and energy rate, something that dropped off towards the end of Frank Lampard's reign. But no one is scoring against them and there is a togetherness which has been in Chelsea teams before, that seems to be back again.

In contrast, Sheffield United look in disarray. The Blades looked soulless in their heavy thumping at Leicester last weekend, their first match since Chris Wilder's departure.

Stand-in frontman Paul Heckingbottom has now had a full week to work with his new group and will be hoping the FA Cup can continue to provide some solace.

The difference in moods between the two camps couldn't be more contrasting going into today's match.

Chelsea have been revived by the appointment of Thomas Tuchel, a verve and belief running through the club.

The Blues are unbeaten in the German's first 13 matches - the best opening streak by a new manager at the Bridge.

It has reignited their bid for a top-four Premier League finish and seen them reach the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time in seven years.

    Everton 0-2 Man City

For 83 minutes it looked like Manchester City's quadruple hopes could be ended at Goodison Park. Then, they dropped a gear and revved things up.

Late goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin de Bruyne ended Everton's resistance and sealed City's spot in the semi-finals.

"We competed well for 80 minutes against, in my opinion, the best team in the world," said Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti.

    Bournemouth 0-3 Southampton

Southampton put their Premier League troubles to one side as they reached the FA Cup semi-finals by brushing past Championship hosts Bournemouth.

Nathan Redmond inspired the Saints, who have lost 10 of their past 12 league games, with two goals and an assist.

The visitors went ahead when Moussa Djenepo coolly slotted in Redmond's precise pass after a driving run.

Redmond's stunning solo goal gave the visitors a commanding half-time lead before he calmly steered in the third.

"We had aspirations of getting to Wembley at the start of the season. It's a chance for us to put the league form behind us," Redmond told BT Sport.

"It was something for us to always aim for. We knew we wanted a cup run this season."

Watch how they did it below.
