Spurs v Crystal Palace (19:15 GMT)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC football expert

Crystal Palace have gone three games unbeaten now, and the five points they have picked up in that time have been really important. Mathematically they aren't safe of course, but you look at them and know they are not going to get relegated now - the pressure is off.

It's hard to know what to expect from Tottenham these days, as we found out against Fulham in midweek when they had to hang on to take the points.

But if they play like they can do, and let their attacking players off the leash like they did when they beat Burnley last weekend, then they should win this game.

The best part of this Spurs team are their three forwards - Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Gareth Bale - so they might as well go for it because playing more pragmatically has not worked for them.

    Prediction: 2-0

Palace's tally of 34 points is their highest after 27 matches of a top-flight season since 1991-92. The Eagles require 15 points from their final 11 fixtures to equal their highest Premier League points total, set in 1992-93 and 2018-19.

They have had successive goalless draws in the top flight for the first time since December 2017.

Tottenham are unbeaten in 11 league games against Crystal Palace, their longest ongoing run against any current top-flight side (W9, D2).

The Eagles have won just six of their 43 league fixtures versus Spurs.

Palace are without a win in eight away league games at Tottenham dating back to 1997, failing to score on their past seven visits.

Well today got off to a slow start with a largely dull goalless affair between West Brom and Newcastle but things picked up significantly for the last two games. Will that continue into the late game?

Emlyn Begley is back in the hot seat for Tottenham versus Crystal Palace.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a fantastic game. United make incredibly high pressing and they are so fast on the counter. We played good. Unfortunately we couldn't be clinical up front so we congratulate United.

"We will be the news because we lost. But the news is 21 victories in a row. There are still 30 points to play and we have to start to win again.

"That's football. Sometimes it happens. We played much better than the game against West Ham which we won.

"It's always the same. We win a game and then move onto the next one. It's the same here. We lose this so we go to the next one. It's a lesson. Even at 0-2 we played really well."

    Manchester City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to BBC Sport: "Congratulations Manchester United first of all.

"Ten games left, now arrive the important part of the season. The last 10 games are important and we start next Wednesday. We will try to win as many games as possible to be champions.

"Against West Ham we played much, much worse than today. Against West Ham we didn't deserve to win and maybe today we didn't deserve to lose. We were not good in front of goal, our strikers were not brilliant today but it happens."

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to Sky Sports: "When you come away with a 2-0 win and another clean sheet and a performance like this then you are delighted.

"Every game is different. We went back to be a little bit what we wanted to be and that's being direct. That was the Anthony Martial of old. Until two hours before warm-up I wasn't sure if he'd play. Today he rediscovered himself. He was really strong on the ball and very positive.

"We had to defend well. No team in the world of football has a chance against Manchester City without being collective.

"Dean Henderson is getting more mature. I'm very happy with him."

On catching Manchester City: "No, we just take one game time. They are too far ahead to think we can catch them. They have been excellent. Even today they put you under so much pressure."

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, speaking to BBC Sport: "Delighted. I'd say you get the first goal, we were on the front foot for 10-15 minutes but then the last half hour of the first half I felt we played too much on the result. Sometimes when you defend against strong teams inevitably they create chances. We had to get to half time to get hold of everyone again.

"The second goal was magnificent. Luke [Shaw] just showed what he is about. He was a massive doubt this morning and had to go through a fitness test to play. What a performance.

"I thought we defended really well, we were more like ourselves with the ball attacking wise.

"Anthony Martial was man of the match and he was an even bigger doubt than Luke. That was the Anthony we know, strong positive and taking players on. Delighted for him.

"They [Manchester City] are so far ahead you can't really think about anything but making sure we win our games and be better than last year. We were third so we want to move up the table of course."

United fan. In a strange way, I’m kind of frustrated watching that!... if only we hadn’t dropped all those silly points over the past month or so. That said, obviously still very pleased with the win. Great performance and tactics spot on from Ole. More of the same, pretty please?!

Manchester City's Kevin de Bruyne, speaking to Sky Sports: "Obviously I don't think we started very well. We knew it would be hard. We played into their hands with the first goal and we needed about 15 minutes to settle a bit. Then we played pretty good but we didn't score and that made a difference and made a mistake with the pressing for the second goal.

"It is not the best if you go behind after one minute but you still have 90 minutes after that. The second was a little worse but I think the mentality of the players was the same as always.

"It is not nice to lose the derby but sometimes it happens. We have to move on and Wednesday there is a new game.

"Sometimes it is necessary to lose games and have bad spells. Even in the winning run we had some bad spells but overcame then, we didn't today. Sometimes it can be a positive."

Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, speaking to Sky Sports: "It's always difficult to play against Manchester City. They are difficult on the ball and tough to play against. Today we did almost everything perfect.

"It's not about winning against City, it's about winning every game.

"Scoring in the first minute was perfect, we had more space to counter. We remained focused until the end of the game. When we defend well we know we'll have chances to score.

"The league is not a sprint. It's is a marathon. We have to do our best and not think about others."

On his celebration: "It is for my kids. Every time I score it's for them."

Very good display tactically from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer - he got it spot on nullifying Kevin de Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan. City became frustrated.

Luke Shaw was immense in the second half he was so dynamic in his runs. City, it wasn't their day and United were tactically very good. Not enough players for City were at their best today.

That's now 22 away games without a defeat in a row for Manchester United.

The title may be a bit too much of an ask this year, even after this win, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appears to have them motoring in the right direction.

They just need to make sure there's more performances like this and fewer like the one against Crystal Palace.
