Big save by Ederson!

Scott McTominay, with the ball on the edge of the box, collides with Ruben Dias and the ball squirms to Anthony Martial. He is one-on-one but Ederson saves.

That could be massive.

Gabriel Jesus plays the ball across the face of goal but it is just out of Raheem Sterling's reach.

First Manchester City change as João Cancelo is replaced by Kyle Walker at right back.

Kevin de Bruyne charges through the middle before playing in Gabriel Jesus on the right side of the box. Jesus is about to let fly but Luke Shaw slides in at the last second to deal with the danger.

Manchester City trail by more than one goal in a Premier League home game for the first time since September 2020 (2-5 v Leicester), while they've conceded as many goals in this game as in their previous eight league games at the Etihad combined.

Every outfield player apart from Ruben Dias has had a shot on goal for Manchester City. Maybe they should let the defender wander up and have a pop?

If Manchester United do manage to keep a clean sheet they will have done very well.

Could have been 3-0 as Manchester United push forward again with five against four. A ball into the box deflects off Ruben Dias' head and loops to Anthony Martial at the far post but his downward header is held by Ederson.

Rodri's shot on the crossbar aside, Manchester City are yet to get going in this half.

Luke Shaw has been directly involved in six Premier League goals this season (one goal, five assists), his most in a single season in the competition.

Anthony Martial, who has had a good game, drives forward and works the ball to Daniel James on the right side of the box. The forward's shot deflects behind for a corner but Luke Shaw's delivery is headed away.

Bruno Fernandes plays the ball forward and Marcus Rashford beats Ruben Dias to the ball on the right. Nothing comes of it in the end but this has been a good start to the second half by Manchester United. Once again they are playing with real intent.

Incredible play and pace from Luke Shaw - let's give Dean Henderson credit as well. City pressing and Shaw goes high and wide on the left, Henderson throws it out with pace and he drives towards the penalty area and Marcus Rashford just lays it back, Shaw takes a touch and then hits it through the legs of Rodri into the far corner - Ederson was rooted.

I'm expecting City to create big chances now - lots of possession in the first half but didn't really create any chances. You have to give United credit but City will have a spell where they will once again dominate the ball but can they create some better opportunities?

No penalties or goals but we do have a shot off the bar!
