Brighton winger Leandro Trossard: "It was very important. Finally we got what we deserved. We were the better team overall and finally we got the three points. It’s a relief and now we can build on that.

"It’s always nice to score a goal, especially in this game as we needed those three points.

"You always try as a team to score goals, we created a lot of chances this season already, we didn’t convert them unfortunately but today we scored two and won the game, so we are really happy."

On Adam Lallana’s influence: "He’s an important player. He’s experienced, has great quality on the ball and we need him as a team. He’s added that extra bit for us and we are really happy to have him."

On next week’s game against Newcastle: "Every game is a big game, we try to win every game. It’s nice that we have that winning feeling again and we want to win that game as well.

"We go again next week, but let’s enjoy this feeling and then build on it."

Leicester are starting to dominate possession. Youri Tielemans switches it over to the right but Kelechi Iheanacho gives it away a little loosely.

Southampton edged the first half but in the second half they completely reversed the roles. I thought Brighton were excellent.

Give credit to the manager. He saw something he wasn't happy with so changed his system and it had a massive impact on the eventual outcome.

Brighton defender Lewis Dunk speaking to BBC Sport: "It feels really good. That was a proper performance. It was an all-round good performance and the quality of the second goal shows how good we can be.

"It always feels nice to score and help the team out. We got the win in the end and that's all that matters."

On facing Newcastle next weekend: "It's another game. They are around us and we want to win, as do they. We'll go away, recover and try to do the job."

Leicester's victory over Brighton last weekend ended a three-match winless run in all competitions.

Only 19 of their 53 points have been won at home.

But Sheffield United have lost 11 of their 13 away league fixtures this season, winning one and drawing one.

And they have lost 22 of their opening 28 Premier League games, equalling the top-flight record.

They managed the game well in the second half Brighton after taking the lead. The change of system helped them hugely and Southampton struggled to find the energy and creativity needed to get back into it after going 2-1 behind.

We know all about Leicester's injuries but they still beat Brighton last weekend and they should be too strong for Sheffield United.

Prediction: 2-0

Huge win for Brighton, who are now three points above the bottom three. Southampton are sleepwalking into potential trouble.

Leicester's form has dipped a little of late but they still sit in third place going into today's clash against bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United.

A win today would give them some breathing space in the top four - moving them five points clear of Chelsea.
