    Chris Waddle
Ex-Newcastle and England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I'm sure the Sheffield United players have had words among themselves [after former boss Chris Wilder left].

At the end of the day they're professional footballers, they'll give this match all they've got.

But I'm sure the majority will miss him.

  2. 'Have that winning feeling again'published at 14:05 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2021

Brighton winger Leandro Trossard: "It was very important. Finally we got what we deserved. We were the better team overall and finally we got the three points. It’s a relief and now we can build on that.

"It’s always nice to score a goal, especially in this game as we needed those three points.

"You always try as a team to score goals, we created a lot of chances this season already, we didn’t convert them unfortunately but today we scored two and won the game, so we are really happy."

On Adam Lallana’s influence: "He’s an important player. He’s experienced, has great quality on the ball and we need him as a team. He’s added that extra bit for us and we are really happy to have him."

On next week’s game against Newcastle: "Every game is a big game, we try to win every game. It’s nice that we have that winning feeling again and we want to win that game as well.

"We go again next week, but let’s enjoy this feeling and then build on it."

    Leicester 0-0 Sheffield United

Leicester are starting to dominate possession. Youri Tielemans switches it over to the right but Kelechi Iheanacho gives it away a little loosely.

Southampton's performance petered out, if we are honest, and you just worry a little bit for them. OK, they are on 33 points, but they need another couple of wins still.

    Leicester 0-0 Sheffield United

Ayoze Perez takes a tumble as he's caught from behind. Slow start from both teams.

Brighton have got three points on the board, which is absolutely huge in this situation. Get the win, whichever way you can.

  9. Will Vardy get on the scoresheet?published at 13:59 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2021

Sheffield-born Jamie Vardy has either scored or provided an assist in all three league appearances against the Blades.

    FT: Southampton 1-2 Brighton

    Mark Hughes
Former Wales manager on BBC One

Southampton edged the first half but in the second half they completely reversed the roles. I thought Brighton were excellent.

Give credit to the manager. He saw something he wasn't happy with so changed his system and it had a massive impact on the eventual outcome.

Brighton defender Lewis Dunk speaking to BBC Sport: "It feels really good. That was a proper performance. It was an all-round good performance and the quality of the second goal shows how good we can be.

"It always feels nice to score and help the team out. We got the win in the end and that's all that matters."

On facing Newcastle next weekend: "It's another game. They are around us and we want to win, as do they. We'll go away, recover and try to do the job."

  12. Story of their seasonspublished at 13:57 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2021

Leicester v Sheffield United (14:00 GMT)

Leicester's victory over Brighton last weekend ended a three-match winless run in all competitions.

Only 19 of their 53 points have been won at home.

But Sheffield United have lost 11 of their 13 away league fixtures this season, winning one and drawing one.

And they have lost 22 of their opening 28 Premier League games, equalling the top-flight record.

They managed the game well in the second half Brighton after taking the lead. The change of system helped them hugely and Southampton struggled to find the energy and creativity needed to get back into it after going 2-1 behind.

  19. In the thick of itpublished at 13:52 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2021

Leicester v Sheffield United (14:00 GMT)

Leicester's form has dipped a little of late but they still sit in third place going into today's clash against bottom-of-the-table Sheffield United.

A win today would give them some breathing space in the top four - moving them five points clear of Chelsea.

  20. Man of the match - Lallanapublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2021

    Southampton 1-2 Brighton

    Danny Murphy
Former Liverpool and England midfielder on BBC One

There have been some good performances. Danny Welbeck deserves a mention but Adam Lallana has been the best player on the pitch throughout the 90 minutes. Calm, controlled and technically very good. Getting Brighton on the front foot and doing his defending as well. Thoroughly deserved.
