Danny Welbeck has had a terrific game. He has done really well for them today, but the last thing you want is for him to pick up a muscle injury in the latter stages of the game.

RedBears63: I hope I'm proved wrong but this is why Hassenhuttl isn't good enough. Absolutely no ability to change tactics when the opponent changes it up. He's clearly a good man motivator but probably the worst tactician in the premier league.

Kyle Utterson: What a game this is. Brilliant goal from Brighton lovely football in the buildup and a superb finish. Great save but Adams should have equalised. BBC picked a really good game today great choice.

Zeqiri forces a save from Forster from a tight angle. Brighton are not shutting up shop here. They know another goal kills this game.

Brilliant from Lallana. He carries the ball away from his own box, weaving away from Saints players and then wins a free-kick to ease any pressure.

Neal Maupay doesn't have the pace to take him away from the Saints defence after collecting another really good pass from Welbeck. Bednarek gets back to tackle him before he can shoot in the box.

You have to think that Southampton will be OK this season. There are teams below them in arguably a worse place as regards form and confidence. But they have to arrest this. They've looked very short of ideas this half.

Pascal Gross tries to catch Forster out with a shot from an angled free-kick, with a cross the more likely option. He catches the wall, though, taking the sting off it and making it an easy grab for the Saints keeper.

Another change. Nathan Tella is withdrawn with Moussa Djenepo replacing him.

He has just over 20 minutes to try and get his side back into this.

Jamie: The smart pass from Veltman at the start of the move deserves more love

Brilliant. We didn't see enough of Leandro Trossard in the first half but he is playing in this number 10 role, central. We were talking earlier about his lack of goals this season but that is what he is capable of. Great ball from Adam Lallana, great touch from Danny Welbeck and brilliant finish from Trossard.

Oh, he almost manages to score too. His effort deflects off the wall and wrong foots the keeper but the ball goes wide for a corner.

Now then. Nathan Tella is fouled just outside the box. The ref lets play carry on for a chance for Adams that he should score but Sanchez saves.

Whistle goes and we are back for the free-kick. Over to you, Mr. Ward-Prowse...
