    It's been a brilliant watch hasn't it.

And it should be 4-3! Kurt Zouma slices over the top from six yards out. Huge chance.

    Mbaye. Maybe not...

Mason Mount drags Chelsea back into the conversation with a tap-in after Timo Werner squares it across the six-yard box.

    Game on?

  5. "A great finish from Robinson"published at 14:01 British Summer Time 3 April 2021

    Chelsea 1-4 West Brom

    Andy Reid
Ex-Republic of Ireland midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was a great run forward by Darnell Furlong and he pulled a good ball back to the edge of the box for a late run into the box by Callum Robinson, it was a great finish and he got great contact.

You would think it is very, very difficult – although not impossible – for Chelsea to get back into this one.

West Brom are playing really well against 10 men – they are knocking the ball about, keeping possession and creating chances.

    Mbaye Diagne (68 mins)

    Wooowwwwwww!

Another brilliant goal from West Brom who suddenly look inspired. A great counter down the left sees Conor Townsend backheel the ball to Matheus Pereira, who has the vision to pick out Mbaye Diagne arriving to his right.

The striker sidefoots hard and low across the keeper and in. West Brom points in the bag?

    Definitely Mbaye.

I know as a BBC employee I'm almost obliged to say this but that is a goal you'll want to catch on MOTD later on tonight.

    Callum Robinson (63 mins)

    WHAT a goal!

An absolute ripper from Callum Robinson, who has now scored four Premier League goals and they have all come against Chelsea!

Darnell Furlong puts in a cross from the right, Robinson arrives on it on the edge of the box and he just sidefoots the volley into the roof of the net. Nonchalance.

Such a good connection. That is as good a volley as you would wish to see and it could be massive for the Albion.

  10. CLOSE!published at 61 mins

    Chelsea 1-2 West Brom

    Hat-trick chance!

West Brom have been under the pump for the last 10 minutes or so but break out and free Matheus Pereira once more. It's on his left foot, edge of the area, and he fires in hard and low, but straight at Edouard Mendy who can save with his legs.

Big Sam is not impressed on the bench.

  12. CLOSE!published at 58 mins

    Chelsea 1-2 West Brom

Much much better from Chelsea now who have found their rhythm. Mateo Kovacic runs at the heart of West Brom, cuts on to his right foot and slams in a shot from 20 yards that flies over. Deflected, it turns out.

From the corner Kurt Zouma shins a volley over the bar. Can Albion see this out?

They do have an extra man, if you're just joining us.

  13. CLOSE!published at 57 mins

    Chelsea 1-2 West Brom

Almost brilliant from Mason Mount! Chelsea have a free-kick deep on the left wing, everyone is anticipating a ball to the back post but the England man shoots, going for the near post.

Sam Johnstone doesn't move and can only watch as the ball flashes into the side netting.

    More like it!

Reece James pops up at the far post and shanks a cross up into the London skyline, Sam Johnstone flaps at it and Marcos Alonso ends up dragging a shot against the base of the post, via a deflection.

    Warning signs for West Brom.

Only Reece James has had a shot on target for Chelsea today since they opened the scoring. And they've started the second half in pretty sleepy fashion as well.

IF Chelsea do lose today then both West Ham and Tottenham will be sniffing a place in the top four again.

Can Matheus Pereira join a very select group?

Only three players have netted a Premier League hat-trick in an away match at Stamford Bridge; Nwankwo Kanu for Arsenal in 1999, Robin van Persie for Arsenal in 2011 and Sergio Agüero for Man City in 2016.
