It may be time to look beyond Dean Smith this summer. It's been a fairytale but we have to move forwards. His comments on summer transfers are alarming and any manager who can't see that Trez, El Ghazi and Traore combined aren't as good as Grealish's left leg need to retire.

Sam Hartles: That’s very harsh to overrule that penalty. One angle it looks like Watkins touched the ball then another angle it looks like Lemina. For me it should stay with the referee’s decision because it wasn’t a “clear and obvious error."

Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live0-0 is about right. Aston Villa have created a few chances and Fulham started ever so well. There should be goals in the game. Fulham need to kick on in the second half. Scott Parker will probably give it another 15 to 20 minutes before making changes, but they need to win the game.

Jon Evans: Villa's biggest issue without Grealish is that Traore and El Ghazi just aren't good enough. They've offered nothing in this spell with him. Hard for the rest of the team to perform when they offer nothing. Most important area to strengthen in the summer I think.
