    The Faroes have shown some good, slick passing. It's been a good spell for them where they've dominated possession. They have turned it around from the Scotland domination in the opening stages.

    That [Olsen shot] was flying into the top corner. It's a brilliant fingertip save from Craig Gordon. That's their gameplan, to try to play us on the counter and they did it well there.

    It's almost like a training game for the Faroes. They have two banks of four and we just have to break them down. Kenny McLean has all the space he wants to pull the strings and unfortunately for them, John McGinn did break them down.

    Hendriksson Olsen fires a 25-yard howitzer at goal but a leaping Craig Gordon is equal to the task, stretching high into the Glasgow night sky to brilliant tip the shot over for a corner.

    I don't think there really were, but that should settle any nerves that were lingering. Time to just keep going and get more goals now.

    The hosts are in the mood for more goals. Scott McTominay finds skipper Andy Robertson with a sumptuous long ball. Robertson's first-time centre looks destined to be fired home by Callum McGregor arriving late in the box.

    But Lyndon Dykes gets a touch and diverts the ball out of reach of the Celtic midfielder.

    Scotland remain a goal to the good and hungry to add to their tally.

    It's crisp and clinical. Our wide centre-halves have got the licence to get forward tonight and Tierney does it brilliantly. McGinn just needed some sort of contact to keep it on target and he got that and then some. Great finish.

    Incredible again from John McGinn, he's got that goal-scoring touch, doesn't he? Kierant Tierney stayed high almost like a left-winger, looked up and picked McGinn out, and now it's an early lead for Scotland.

    Kieran Tierney, who's impressed in the opening stages, bursts forward before sending a cutback into the path of John McGinn.

    The Scotland midfielder finds the net with a low, guided drive. Less spectacular than his heroics against Austria but just as important.
