Brighton are seeing a lot of the ball, stroking it around nicely but largely in their own half. Dan Burn gets another chance to cross on the left but his delivery is blocked.

Chelsea 0-0 Brighton
Been a quiet start at Stamford Bridge. To be fair, it would have taken some first few minutes to live up to the buzz of the last few hours of off-field action.
Chelsea 0-0 Brighton
Meanwhile, in Italy...

Chelsea 0-0 Brighton
Is it poor form on my part to say that all the angst and anger over the European Super League was worth it for the last two hours watching it all fall apart so spectacularly and embarrassingly for its creators?
Here is a man who probably agrees with me...
Chelsea 0-0 Brighton
Dan Burn chips a cross into the mixer, looking to find one of his fellow yellow-clad Brighton players but Kepa is confidently out to claim.
Chelsea 0-0 Brighton
And we are under way in the biggest sideshow of the season!
Seriously, is anyone actually following this?
Well, this game at Stamford Bridge has a very different vibe about it now.
The players are on their way out on to the pitch. Chelsea looking to move back into the top four (which is now genuinely important for them), Brighton aiming to put further distance between themselves and the bottom three.
Please don't be 0-0 after all that's happened tonight.

It is anticipated an official announcement on Woodward's departure from Manchester United will be made when the New York Stock Market closes at 21:00 BST.
Woodward was intending to leave at the end of the year anyway.
Chelsea v Brighton (20:00 BST)
Should they record a sixth top-flight away victory of the season tonight it would represent a club record for Brighton.
They have kept 10 clean sheets in the Premier League this season, seven of them since the turn of the year. It's their best top-flight record since recording 14 clean sheets in 1981-82.
It does make you wonder just why they have spent so much of the season struggling near the bottom three.
Then you see that they have dropped 20 points from a winning position this campaign (a joint-league high alongside Spurs) and it starts to make a bit more sense.
Chelsea v Brighton (20:00 BST)
Chelsea go into tonight's game with the possibility of losing consecutive league games at Stamford Bridge for only the third time since Roman Abramovich became owner in 2004. It previously happened in November 2011 and December 2019.
They have dropped points in eight of their 15 home league matches, more than in any of the previous 23 seasons bar 2015-16.
However, the Blues have kept 14 clean sheets in 19 competitive matches since Thomas Tuchel became head coach.
What a night! And the game hasn't even started yet.
BBC Sport understands that Ed Woodward is to stand down as Man Utd executive vice-chairman at end of 2021.

BBC football expert
So, it doesn't look like Lawro will need to make any ESL predictions anytime soon - at least not involving Chelsea anyway. But what about tonight's Premier League game?
Lawro is going for a 2-0 Chelsea win, while his opponent - Soccer AM legend and Blues fan Tubes - thinks Thomas Tuchel's side will win 3-0.
We're going to have a bit of a split now people. If you want to follow the game at Stamford Bridge, stay on this page and I will guide you through it.

Olly Clements: all this talk of "massive respect for Chelsea and City". They've tried to pull the wool over everyone's eyes and now they are backing out like cowards!
Bald Eagle: ban all 12 from next 3 years of Champions League. Lets see the likes of Everton, West Ham, Leicester, Leverkusen, Sevilla getting the benefit of the sheer greed of these clubs
Steve Conroy: Many are asking how these teams can be forgiven, without punishment, losing points, be involved in decision making. Simple, these six clubs are the Premiership in financial terms. Lose them all other teams are simply part of a weaker, poorer League. Good luck!

I can confirm that the Brighton players are indeed warming up in t-shirts stating that 'football is for the fans'.
I think we're seeing that principle in action tonight.

It was never going to happen, let's be honest. An announcement hours before UEFA posted their new regs: a major championship which has no TV broadcaster in place who would dare go even near it, no sponsors and no fans and at a cost of £10bn. In addition the players and managers themselves were not even told about it in advance. Just very Ill-advised postering by the big clubs for a larger share of the pot.

I think Fifa should seize the moment to remind us of their expanded Club World Cup plans. Much maligned, but 24 teams from across the world who have to qualify to compete - not sounding so bad now, is it?
