  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 19:48 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Stoke 0-1 Coventry

Coventry have the advantage at the Bet365 Stadium and it's Tyler Walker's goal late on that is the difference.

Stoke lost James Chester to injury, and might have scored but for Ben Wilson's save from Connor Taylor.

The Sky Blues also came close through Gustavo Hamer and also lost Liam Kelly to injury themselves.

    Not much in it though.

  2. goal

GOAL: Stoke 0-1 Coventrypublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Tyler Walker (43 mins)

Smart finish from Tyler Walker to break the deadlock in an open game at Stoke.

All came from great work by Callum O'Hare to create the chance.

Timely moment to score, just before the break.

  3. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    #bbcefl

The final three Championship games of the evening are getting started.

Birmingham and Huddersfield are looking to move a step closer to survival.

Barnsley and Reading need points to stay in the hunt for the play-offs.

  4. Postpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Rotherham 1-2 Middlesbrough

Half-chance there for Freddie Ladapo in the box, but his acrobatic effort loops up over the bar for Rotherham.

They keep battling away but the goal still not coming. The 10-men are toiling though.

  5. Postpublished at 19:44 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Rotherham 1-2 Middlesbrough

Chiedozie Ogbene delivers a poor cross after getting into the Middlesbrough box, and the visitors break.

Duncan Watmore drives into the Millers box, his effort is blocked and shot from Chuba Akpom is blocked.

Rotherham send on George Hirst... the son of David - on loan from Leicester.

  6. Luton looking up, as Royals stutterpublished at 19:43 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Luton v Reading (19:45 BST)

Luton celebrate James Collins' penalty versus WatfordImage source, Getty Images

Back-to-back wins over rivals Wycombe and Watford see Luton Town in a good place as they welcome a Reading side still targeting promotion to Kenilworth Road.

The confident manner in which the hosts dismantled Watford at the weekend will give them hope of denting the Royals' hopes of gaining ground on the top six.

Reading do have the form book on their side, having won the past three league meetings - including a 5-0 Yakou Meite-inspired demolition on this ground last season.

That said, two cup meetings both went the way of the Hatters this term. And one win in seven is not good reading for Vjelko Paunovic's play-off chasers.

  7. Postpublished at 19:40 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Rotherham 1-2 Middlesbrough

Neeskens Kebano goes for subtlety rather than power and the end result is no goal.

Rotherham can't clear their lines properly though and the ball keeps coming back at them.

    Twelve to go.

  8. Bowyer's Blues continue to pull awaypublished at 19:40 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

Birmingham v Nottm Forest (19:45 BST)

    Lee BowyerImage source, Rex Features

There seems to be a very good fit about Lee Bowyer's return to Birmingham City as manager midway through March.

The former England midfielder swapped Charlton - another of his playing career posts - for St Andrew's and the midst of a relegation battle, but the Londoner has had an instant impact.

Four wins from six, with a thumping by soon-to-be promoted Watford the only blot on the copybook, have turned their fortunes around.

Even with the swathe of midlands derbies, the visit of Nottingham Forest down the A42 would normally still pique a bit of interest.

Both sides want a few more points to ease any linger drop fears to add some late season spice, and the Blues have a decent home record of late in beating Forest on their past three visits.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:39 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Rotherham 1-2 Middlesbrough

Michael Smith is booked for Rotherham for cutting down Marvin Johnson on the edge of the box.

    Dangerous set-piece this...

  10. Terriers and Tykes have unfinished businesspublished at 19:37 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Huddersfield v Barnsley (19:45 BST)

Huddersfield are still looking over their shoulders somewhat anxiously, despite being eight points above the relegation zone with four games remaining.

Winning 2-0 at Nottingham Forest on Saturday eased their concerns, but they'll be keeping an eye on what Rotherham achieve in their games in hand on the Terriers.

Aside from the 7-0 defeat by a rampant Norwich side, Carlos Coberan's men have proved hard to beat over the past six weeks.

Yorkshire rivals Barnsley have impressed at the other end of the table, with the Tykes occupying the final play-off spot and looking to move a step closer to participation in the end-of-season jamboree.

Defeat at Coventry on Sunday means the Oakwell outfit have a four-point cushion to seventh-placed Reading.

  11. Postpublished at 19:36 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Stoke 0-0 Coventry

Both sides getting into decent positions but the final ball is lacking.

Then Conner Taylor heads at goal for Stoke but Ben Wilson, the Coventry man, makes a superb save.

Could have been a debut goal.

  12. Still to come...published at 19:36 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    #bbcefl

Two Championship games are into the last 25 minutes and two have passed the halfway point in the first half.

And there are three more matches to come in the second tier shortly.

They have implications for the play-offs and the bottom six.

  13. Postpublished at 19:36 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Wycombe 0-1 Bristol City

Wycombe come close to an instant equaliser, as Admiral Muskwe turns Jason McCarthy's cross from the right into the side-netting.

Muskwe took it first time at the near post, and it was a tricky one to divert on target.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 19:35 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Millwall 1-4 Bournemouth

With the points seemingly safe, time for Jonathan Woodgate to rest his in-form men.

Arnaut Danjuma and Dominic Solanke head off to be replaced by Junior Stanislas and Sam Surridge for the final 20 minutes.

Job done by Danjuma and Solanke, and they get a well-deserved rest.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:34 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Rotherham 1-2 Middlesbrough

Chiedozie Ogbene comes on for Kieran Sadlier.

Rotherham trying to inject some attacking quality. His first act is to have his legs taken away by George Saville. Yellow for the Boro midfielder.

  16. Postpublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Stoke 0-0 Coventry

Matty James is on for Coventry, as Liam Kelly can't continue.

One injury and change apiece in the Potteries. Costly night.

  17. CLOSE!published at 19:31 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Rotherham 1-2 Middlesbrough

Oh Freddie Ladapo?! Can't turn a flick-on towards goal and skews it wide.

Rotherham got the ball in the box and won the aerial tussle but the Millers striker can't finish.

That was a chance. Clever run but not a clever finish.

  18. goal

GOAL: Wycombe 0-1 Bristol Citypublished at 19:30 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Tyreeq Bakinson (28 mins)

Bristol City take the lead at rock-bottom Wycombe and it's a brilliant strike.

Adam Nagy lays the ball off for Tyreeq Bakinson outside the box, and the midfielder sweeps his right-footed shot across goal and into the top left-hand corner from 25 yards out.

  19. Postpublished at 19:29 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Rotherham 1-2 Middlesbrough

    Not Rotherham's night.

The Millers look to set Michael Smith away in the right channel of the Boro half but Jonny Howson shuffles across and plays the ball off the striker for a goal-kick.

Smith's frustration is tangible. Boro are playing this perfectly.

  20. goal

GOAL: Millwall 1-4 Bournemouthpublished at 19:29 British Summer Time 21 April 2021

    Dominic Solanke (67 mins)

This one will probably end Millwall's hopes of a comeback.

Dominic Solanke has set up two goals this evening and now he's on the scoresheet himself.

He's played in by Philip Billing and slots calmly into the net to restore Bournemouth's three-goal lead.
