That is heartbreaking for Newport and a massive let off for Morecambe.

John O'Sullivan arguably doesn't even go down in the box as far as I'm concerned.

It's made even worse by the fact Newport should have had a penalty earlier. Just over 10 minutes remain for Mike Flynn's side to get back in it.

Morecambe's fans are in dreamland - but Newport are going to be ruing penalty decisions if they lose this game.

That one looks very harsh on Ryan Haynes, while Newport should have had a spot-kick early on when Kyle Letheren clattered Scot Bennett.

That's ridiculous, there's two men coming together, there's two men going for the same ball, for me O'Sullivan has gone down there and mugged the referee.

Great play by Maynard, little shimmy, little turn, lovely right footed cross.

Joss Labadie should go with his left instep there not his right outside of the foot.

Mike Flynn is on his knees he can't believe it.

We are into one minute of added time in the first period of extra time.

  16. Oh what a chancepublished at 105 mins

    Morecambe 0-0 Newport

Nicky Maynard does well down the right and crosses invitingly.

Kevin Ellison cannot reach the ball but Joss Labadie does, only to poke it over the bar from point-blank range.

    What an opportunity that was.

Ryan Haynes slides in John O'Sullivan on the edge of the box.

Surprisingly, even if contact was minimal, no free-kick is given.

How is Morecambe boss Derek Adams wearing a jumper on the touchline?!

    Bonkers.

It probably says a lot about the quality of this game that I'm picking up on this but, you know, here we are.

A sniff of an opening on the edge of the Newport box for Carlos Mendes Gomes, but the door is immediately closed by a couple of amber shirts.

It's gone back to being very tight and that's why Derek Adams has made that change to tighten things up in midfield.
