I think Amond needs to get a bit closer to Collins, as a two they need to play together. Amond is dropping too deep into midfield.

The game was open before the break, but it has been a scrappy start to the second half.

There have been almost as many whistles from the referee as there have successful passes.

The longer this goes on, the nervier it is going to get for both sides.

With a season's work on the line, you don't want to be the player who drops a clanger.

I think Newport have raised the tempo a bit, and they're better when the tempo is high and I don't think Morecambe enjoy that.

Newport come forward and Padraig Amond crosses invitingly, but Lewis Collins is isolated and cannot get to the ball.

Morecambe are trying to ask questions for the first time in the second half, but a spell of territory and possession comes to nothing.

Newport are standing strong for now.

An exciting half but still no goals at either end.

During the regular season, only 12th-placed Crawley conceded more goals in the top half of the table than Morecambe.

But so far the Shrimps have held firm when Newport have gone forward.

Can Derek Adams' side continue to frustrate the Exiles? It will be interesting to see if any changes are made at the break.

I think Morecambe will be happy, it's exactly as they want the game to be, tight. They look comfortable and know they'll always get a chance on the counter with their pace.
