Everton move it from left to right before it comes back over to Lucas Digne.

Villa are compact on the edge of their box and there's no way through to Everton go back to Jordan Pickford and start again.

Richarlison has another strike from the edge of the box but it's straight at the keeper.

Alex Iwobi is then replaced by Bernard. He's been lively considering he was brought into the starting XI last minute to replace James Rodriguez.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin spreads it out wide to Lucas Digne on the left but his cross takes a big deflection and loops up into Emiliano Martinez's arms. It's settled down a little again in the last few minutes.

Former Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph is on for Andre Gomes.

Jordan Pickford has been very solid. He comes charging out to command the box from another corner.

Definitely helping his case for England number one spot today.

It's rolled short to Ollie Watkins. He fizzes a low ball in across the six-yard area but nobody can get a touch on it.

It's poked away, bounces off Bertrand Traore and Tyrone Mings does just enough to keep it alive on the far side.

Richarlison is getting into some nice positions. He holds it up and tries to get Dominic Calvert-Lewin in but it doesn't come off.

A few moments later he pops a shot off on the edge but it's blocked.

Villa have a corner a matter of seconds later. Back to normal again!

Aston Villa are going off script. They are actually trying to keep the ball and patiently build an attack.

It's killed the frantic, end-to-end drama of the last hour or so.

Jordan Pickford's goal kick is launched forward, Tyrone Mings flicks it backwards and Richarlison latches onto it before dragging his shot just wide of the far post.

Lucas Digne then whips a dangerous cross in but it's dealt with by Emiliano Martinez.

Everton deal with the corner and it's straight up to Richarlison. He loses out on the edge and Villa will now break.

It's played long over the top for Ollie Watkins to chase. Ben Godfrey comes across in time to deal with it but concedes a corner.
