While we wait for more information, Sky Sports speak to their pundits who witnessed the protests inside Old Trafford.
Former Manchester United skipper Gary Neville says the protest is "the consequences of the owners actions two weeks ago".
And Roy Keane, another former United captain, says he understands the frustrations of the fans.

Looks like it could be a long while yet then. Not sure how much time the players would need between getting to the ground (if they are able to) and the match kicking off.

We're still inside the stadium but we're not allowed back to the press box as of yet. We're very much in lockdown like the rest of Man Utd staff at present. I was earlier shown to a window which overlooks the entrance to the Munich Tunnel by the Megastore and there were still a number of fans still making noise outside that area.
We believe as it stands that all the fans that were inside the stadium have now been ejected. We also believe that neither team is anywhere near to arriving at the stadium.
The Manchester United team is still at the hotel, although team sheets have been submitted. Whilst we have the starting line-ups, We don't have the teams inside the venue yet.

Man Utd v Liverpool (kick-off TBC)
Still no confirmation of if/when the match will kick off. Television pictures have just shown referee Michael Oliver appear at the Old Trafford tunnel, putting his thumbs up and then down in a manner which suggests he is as unsure as the rest of us what is happening.
While we wait for some reaction from St James' Park, let's find out the latest from Old Trafford...
FT: Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
Satisfied with what you've seen Arsenal fans? Feeling confident for Thursday?

Arsenal started very well but I always thought Newcastle would come back at some point it just never happened. Time and time again you thought 'make a change' and when Steve Bruce actually made changes it had no effect whatsoever.
He probably left it a little late to make those changes but Newcastle looked like a team who thought they're safe and are just about there now and they're probably right.
Really good play today from Arsenal on the other hand and a number of players look like they have put themselves absolutely in contention for this big Europa League semi-final.
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
Newcastle's misery is over. At least they know that they *should* still be safe from relegation. One more win from their final four games will definitely do it.
Arsenal were much better than we have seen in recent weeks. Morale boosted before Thursday's Europa League semi-final second leg against Villarreal.
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
To be fair, Arsenal have been this dominant all afternoon....
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
Arsenal have got that air of confidence you have when you know you've won and the whistle is seconds away. Newcastle's 10 men can't get a kick now.
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
Arsenal keep the ball as they run down the clock. Into the last of the minimum four additional minutes, although that will be extended after the delay around Schar's red card.

He's definitely put the player in danger. He's got his back to the goal and cannot protect himself. He's come through the back and caught his heel. I don't think he meant to be vicious but you cannot do that and if you do that there's every likelihood it can lead to a quite serious injury. It's well over 90 minutes. What's the point doing that?
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
The wince on Gabriel Martinelli's face as he gingerly climbs to his feet after some treatment is telling. Painful one.
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
Oh dear. Newcastle's afternoon goes from bad to worse.
A daft tackle from Newcastle sub Fabian Schar, who goes straight through the back of Gabriel Martinelli midway inside the home half. No need.
VAR will check, however. Schar lurks about hoping for a reprieve, but he won't get one.
It was low but it was rash and in the modern game you can see why it was given.
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
I've just remembered Mat Ryan was required to push over a shot from Allan Saint-Maximin in the first half. Sorry, Mat.

The players playing against Newcastle's midfield have been livelier, looked sharper, the passing was a lot more crisp. Quite simply the tactics haven't worked. Steve Bruce has made the changes now but they're two goals down and it seems far too little and far too late and it's just been a poor performance by Newcastle really.
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
Does this count as a save? Not in my book but Mat Ryan does what he has to do well, claiming a cross from the boot of Newcastle wing-back Matt Ritchie.
Just not enough quality in the final third from Newcastle in the rare moments they have had.
Newcastle 0-2 Arsenal
Another Arsenal goal seems more likely than a Newcastle one.
Mohamed Elneny drives forward again, laying the ball left to Dani Ceballos. The Spain midfielder dithers though and can't find a team-mate in the area.
