I really can’t fathom how Spurs have gone from one of the more exciting teams to watch to one of the most boring. In just half a season.

Spurs 1-0 Wolves
Spurs have the first chance of the second half as a free-kick is half-cleared to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who blazes well over the bar.
Spurs 1-0 Wolves
As things stand, Spurs would move up to sixth - above West Ham on goal difference.
They would be five points off the top four with two games to go.
Spurs 1-0 Wolves
The second half begins.
Spurs 1-0 Wolves
Harry Kane is now the fourth player to have 35+ goal involvements in two different Premier League seasons (2016-17 and 2020-21), after Thierry Henry (four), Alan Shearer (three) and Robin van Persie.

Pretty even first half, Adama Traore has been Wolves' only threat. Fabio Silva is trying to make runs but it's been a struggle. Tottenham have been clinical, but if there's any man you want in that position it's Harry Kane and they deserve to be 1-0 up.

Harry Kane opened the scoring for the 54th time in the Premier League today. His goal against Wolves was the 15th team out of 19 that he has scored against in the league this season.
HT: Spurs 1-0 Wolves
This is the 27th time in the Premier League this season that Wolves fail to score in the first 45 minutes - no side has done so more often (level with Sheffield United).
Spurs 1-0 Wolves
That goal takes Harry Kane top of the Premier League Golden Boot race again.
He is on 22, with Mohamed Salah - whose Liverpool play West Brom in the next game - on 21.
Bruno Fernandes is next on 18, with Son Heung-min on 17.
Spurs 1-0 Wolves
It doesn't seem as important now but I was going to tell you about great Conor Coady defending before Harry Kane scored.
Giovani lo Celso whipped in a corner which Kane headed past Rui Patricio - but Coady blocked it on the line.
The ball went back out to Lo Celso on the wing and he tried to catch everyone out by shooting but there was Coady to stop it again.
But then about one minute later Coady could not stop Kane from scoring.

Once he gets in this position Harry Kane will never miss, Wolves have defended well but they give the ball away too much. I don't think Leander Dendoncker and Joao Moutinho have got the legs in midfield to cope with it. Brilliant finish from Kane, though.
Spurs 1-0 Wolves
The half-time whistle goes. That was basically the final act of the first half.
Harry Kane
Harry Kane fires Spurs into the lead. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg plays the ball forward and Kane runs in behind Conor Coady and Romain Saiss.
Coady slides in on him in the box but Kane side-steps it and goes round Rui Patricio in the process, before curling the ball into the corner of the net.
Spurs 0-0 Wolves
Two amazing goalline clearances from Conor Coady in the space of 30 seconds save Wolves.
Hold on...
Spurs 0-0 Wolves
Now this is a good run from Gareth Bale down the right and he cuts it into the box for Dele Alli. Romain Saiss is there to brilliantly tackle Alli before he can shoot. There are shouts for a penalty but the referee isn't interested.

That's where Gareth Bale is lightweight, losing the ball, if you're not that strong you have to just keep moving that ball - he's technically a very good player but running with the ball is not really his strength.
Spurs 0-0 Wolves
A good save and a bit of luck saves Wolves. Son Heung-min latches onto a loose ball on the edge of the box, shuffles it onto his other foot and shoots. Rui Patricio palms it against Leander Dendoncker and there's a Spurs player on the ground who can't get up in time to get the ball.
Spurs 0-0 Wolves
If Spurs do fail to win this one then Everton could knock them down to eighth place later on when they face Sheffield United.
Spurs 0-0 Wolves
Another comically delayed offside flag goes up as Fabio Silva runs onto a long ball, holds off his defender and then passes it backwards.
