Leicester City
Leicester City's Brendan Rodgers speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "We've had a really good pre-season and today we wanted to deliver and get the three points.
"I thought we played really well the first half. Some of our football was outstanding and we didn't have too many problems. In the second half we had to defend a little bit more, but the players really showed their spirit and their mentality when they had to.
"We could've made the match more comfortable with some chances to close it out but we kept a clean sheet and playing to that level was so pleasing."
On title hopes: "We are just doing our very best. When you look at the other clubs and what they're spending, we're nowhere near that level. We're just going to enjoy this season again. I'm going to enjoy seeing the team develop. If we can progress again this year, I'll be happy and we'll see where it takes us."

Chelsea 3-0 Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira to BBC Sport: "It was a tough day. It's not easy to accept conceding three goals. But that was a hard one. We are talking about one of the best teams in Europe. All credit to them, they played really well.
"I'm frustrated because I thought we could do a bit more without the ball. We have to accept to defend because the other team were better. We got too frustrated.
"The game showed there is a still a lot of work to be done. We knew it would be challenging today. Chelsea may have 20 international players. We showed the difference between the teams.
"It's about patience, playing from the back but trying to make right decision - knowing if you're under pressure or not.
"We have to keep working, believe in ourselves. We know what we need to improve. The game didn't change the thoughts I had before. We still have to work and improve the squad.
"The window is still open and I'm looking forward to bringing some new players. I believe we're still short on numbers. We need bodies because we are short. The game showed that.
"We always want to improve the squad. Hopefully we can sign a couple of players before the end of the market."

Chelsea 3-0 Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira tells Sky Sports: "We had a game that we expected, a really challenging and difficult one. We tried to frustrate them but the free-kick we conceded from made it even more difficult. We knew what we were missing before the game and that shows we have a lot of work to do.
"We defended well at times and when we had the ball we lost it straight after and that was a frustration. Any team that comes to Stamford Bridge will suffer. For us, it is about analysing the game and try to improve the squad.
"It was important for us to manage the wing-backs, they maybe had too much time and space on the ball. With five at the back we tried to go man to man, we lacked a bit of discipline at times but Chelsea were by far the better team. We have to try and improve for the next game.
"Joachim Andersen is comfortable on the ball, can find passes between the lines and can play it behind. Christian Benteke came on and holds the ball quite well and those are two players who will give us a lot."
On transfers: "We will need to improve the squad and are short on numbers. We need to being more players to have a better squad."
