I still don't know why they keep going down the right hand side of Spurs. Hojbjerg and Skipp are going across and Tanganga is there. It's a cul-de-sac and City then have to come back. I don't know why they're not giving it to Mahrez on the right hand side. City could definitely catch them because Spurs are so overly committed to defending their left-hand side.

Jack Grealish has now come out to the right-hand side, he should've done that a long time ago.

No Harry Kane? No problem.

The Spurs fans enjoyed that one.

Lucas Moura is inches away from finding Son Heung-min was a really incisive through ball behind Benjamin Mendy.

Khan Karn: He may not be England’s golden boy but if Kane is worth £150m this guy is worth £160m. So much energy, can do anything, go past players, left foot right foot. So underrated but there’s a reason we call him Son-aldo. Magical.

Dennis Ethan: That's what Son was afraid of with the three chances he got in the first half. A peach of a strike that!

Spurs should make it 2-0 on the counter from the corner but Steven Bergwijn shoots wide.

Lucas Moura ran and the ball was deflected into the path of Bergwijn. He carried it into the box and shot. Ederson was beaten but it was wide. He should have hit the target really.

Raheem Sterling looks for a penalty as Japhet Tanganga beats him to the ball and heads a cross away. It was a fair, physical challenge.

Hugo Lloris flaps slightly at the corner but Spurs clear.

Fantastic energy from Spurs this second half. It came from a counter attack, Manchester City had the ball and they gave the ball away on the left hand side. Spurs picked the ball up and drove. Son gets himself in a one on one situation and this time he doesn't disappoint. It's a brilliant finish. Nothing more than Spurs deserve in this second half.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was already showing signs of frustration even before Son Heung-min put Spurs in front.

Benjamin Mendy's sloppy performance is not helping Manchester City. One latest misplaced pass saw Guardiola stagger around in despair before slumping to his haunches.

Spurs look so much fitter and stronger than they did last season and more disciplined out of possession under Nuno.

A decent Spurs attack and they have about three half-chances. A cross is just above Son Heung-min, then Lucas Moura flicks a header out for a throw-in.

Fernandinho tries a shot that's so bad it's barely a shot. He lines one up from 20 yards and by the time it rolls wide it was outside the box.

Son Heung-min flicks on a long ball with his head. Last season Harry Kane would have been onto that - but now nobody was there.

Spurs have started this half like they finished the first.

First shot on target of the game but Raheem Sterling's shot from near the edge of the box is so weak a bottle of water placed on the line could have stopped it. Hugo Lloris scoops it up.

Spurs attack but Lucas Moura fires wide from 25 yards.

This move starts with Ilkay Gundogan nutmegging Dele Alli in midfield and ends with him spinning and having a shot blocked in the box. Jack Grealish was involved in between.

I think Tottenham are really bright on the counter-attack. People like Son and Bergwijn need to keep driving at players, but need to just get the shot off early.

For Man City just stay away from Tanganga and have the quality that was lacking from them in the first half.

Spurs are straight on the attack. Dele Alli feeds Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on the right. He hammers a ball across the six-yard box. Son Heung-min has a tap-in... but Ruben Dias gets in the way and clears.
