Early chance for Brighton as Leandro Trossard slips as he shoots. And moments later they're furious as they have a good attack called back for a free-kick, instead of getting advantage.

An impeccable penalty from Teemu Pukki made it 1-1 at half time, just about fair enough.

Leicester have been careless and Norwich have been persistent, they've kept going and they're getting something out of this game.

Femi John Atoyebi: Caglar Soyuncu is a calamity waiting to happen. Kolo Toure, as a Leicester coaching staff, should be helping to make the Turkish player a decent defender.

A terrific half of football and a Sergi Canos goal, when he nicked the ball off Emiliano Martínez, was correctly ruled out by officials.

FA rules say an indirect free-kick given if: "A player prevents the goalkeeper from releasing the ball from the hands or kicks or attempts to kick the ball when the goalkeeper is in the process of releasing it."

Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson could make his comeback from an ankle problem by replacing Kostas Tsimikas.

Fabinho has returned to training following a bereavement and may come back into contention but James Milner remains injured.

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante, who has been nursing an ankle problem, might start his first league game of the season.

Cesar Azpilicueta is set to make his 300th Premier League appearance.

Kurt Zouma will be absent because of personal reasons (unrelated to his potential move to West Ham), while Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic could miss out following recent positive coronavirus tests.

Newcastle are in big trouble this year! Things need to change they haven't been anywhere close to a good team since Cisse and Ba. Since then it's been painful to watch.

    HT: Newcastle 0-0 Southampton

    Alistair Yeomans
    BBC Radio 5 live reporter

I know statistics aren't everything, but 65% possession for the away side.

To tell you the hill that Steve Bruce has got to climb - when he picked up the ball to kick it back to somebody, he was roundly booed the minute he picked up the ball.

  14. 'West Ham have dominated'published at 15:57 British Summer Time 28 August 2021

HT: West Ham 1-0 Crystal Palace

    John Southall
BBC Radio 5 live football reporter

Deserved half-time lead, they've dominated at times. Pouring forward with Michail Antonio a constant, physical, bustling threat up front. He was involved in the goal - a one-two with Pablo Fornals, with the Spaniard sweeping home from ten yards.

Problems for Palace - they're yet to have a shot.
