Absolutely phenomenal finish from Rodri. Man City are toying with Arsenal at will. They're passing from left to right front to back, Arsenal can't get anywhere near it.

That was definitely one of those goals where you sort of think, 'it's a side-foot shot from 25 yards, surely the keeper should get it?'

Arsenal started brilliantly, they had all their players on the front foot, setting traps, closing City down, then they were blown away completely.

That third goal started with Ederson, he put a simple pass through the middle of the pitch, past all of Arsenal's midfield to Rodri, who manages to turn and run about 30 yards - nobody anywhere near him.

Then Jack Grealish shows nothing but confidence, pure confidence seeping out of him. Puts a lovely pass on a plate for Jesus - boom. The net's rippling.

I would not be making kneejerk reactions based of what happens at the Etihad, because you can go there on any kind of day and lose.

It is not just about today, it is about the direction they are going, can you see what the plan is. Can you see what they are trying to get at.

When I watch Arsenal I struggle to see what they are really trying to do. I struggle to see what the philosophy is out of possession. Sometimes they will press and go after teams and sometimes they will stand off.

Just two touched in the penalty area for Gabriel Jesus but an assist and a goal is not a bad first-half contribution.
