Chelsea make a double change at half-time. Big tweaks too. Thiago Silva and Mateo Kovacic replace Kai Havertz and N'Golo Kante.
Newcastle 2-2 Southampton
Newcastle United
Newcastle boss Steve Bruce speaking to BBC MOTD: "After watching it back, I think it is the right decision but it was a charade for VAR to give it. In my opinion this needs to be addressed.
"We did turn it around. We didn't play anywhere near good enough in the first half. Second half we showed much better to get on the ball to have the courage to go forward and play forward. It was much better second half.
"In my opinion we have taken the lead twice and deserved to go on and win it. We've now given three penalties away and it's cost us badly.
"You are always at your most vulnerable when you score. We have scored with two or three minutes to play and haven't seen it through. That's disappointing - of course it is - but the decision has gone against us. We just have to take it and stop making these decisions that give penalties away.
"It's tough to take, a penalty decided by VAR, and we are all bitterly disappointed."
FT: Norwich 1-2 Leicester
Norwich City
Norwich boss Daniel Farke speaking to BBC MOTD: "Football can be the cruelest sport in the world, even the better team isn't there with the well-deserved outcome. I have to come out here and give many, many compliments for this performance today from my players today.
"We played one of the best sides in the league and got the feeling in the second half that we was really, really close to taking this game completely.
"We definitely deserved to take something from this game and after 70 minutes I would disappointed with just a draw if I am really honest because we created really good moments in the second half and controlled their counters.
"Then out of one thing, sometimes you have to pay the price with young lads. Would a more experienced player commit a tactical foul on the sideline to stop that attack.
"Then they switch the play and even then we are unlucky, the defender is perhaps five inches too late and deflected the strike into the corner. It is unlucky and sometimes in football you have to take that.
"I think [the disallowed goal] is a VAR mistake, for a player to be offside they have be taking part in the game.
"Schmeichel is 10 inches taller than Todd Cantwell and he didn't disrupt his view. He is just standing in front of him, he doesn't disrupt his movement. If the cross comes in and McGinn is all alone in the box with Schmeichel he wouldn't be able to save it anyhow."
FT: Norwich 1-2 Leicester
Leicester City
Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers spoke to BBC MOTD: "It is always important [to win today], the squad have shown over the last few years that they do not go on too many runs of losses.
"We didn't play well, we had to be able to come here and Carrow Road at a three o'clock kick off when the sun is shining is always a difficult ground to come to.
"We showed great resilience especially towards the end. After going in front, the players had to dig in. Throughout the game we had moments of quality and the two moments of real quality we scored.
"The first goal was great, we pressed the ball well and then broke through and Jamie does what he does.
"Mark's goal typifies the professional he is, I felt coming into this game we was going to need someone who was going it come in and press and run and have that bit of quality. He was back to defending and then he gets up there and finishes it really well.
"The two moments we need to look at ourselves first, we created a situation ourselves that we didn't need to. The one at the end they are committing bodies into the box and you have got the player woo is offside. I looked at the linesman right away and the flag went up.
"I am delighted, to have six points out of nine in the first three games and I know over the course of the season with more work patience and more time we will play better and we will have to because we are no where near the standards of our football. We are doing it in moments."
I forget to give you quotes from the earlier games. Whoops.

Never a red. Shame that one bad decision like that changes everything about this game.

Not sure how Chelsea can argue with any of that, blatant hand ball & penalty, followed by Mendy just being a fool.
Bill
Was a pen. And the rules say if you handle on the line it's a sending off.

Actually it ricocheted off Reece James' thigh onto his arm which was by his side.
Do you know what? I don't know anymore. I genuinely don't
Liverpool 1-1 Chelsea
That's a harsh one probably on Chelsea - even if a correct decision. Reece James did handle the ball by current handball rules - which don't care if it's intentional. But if it's an accidental handball it feels a bit much to send him off on top of the penalty. You don't get sent off for a fair but mistimed tackle in the box anymore.

BBC Sport chief football writer at Anfield
Chelsea had lost it completely there, infuriated by those decisions that have swung the momentum back in Liverpool's favour in the final seconds of the half.
Thomas Tuchel will be so frustrated because, for all Liverpool's frantic efforts and the noise of the crowd, Chelsea had this game relatively under control and should have made it 2-0 when Mason Mount had that chance.
Different game now.

We haven't heard the last of this, not by a long shot.
Players are squaring up to each other, we knew it was going to be tasty, it is absolutely living up to that billing!
