    Oh what a chance!

Adama Traore races onto a ball down the left and spots Trincao alone inside the box. His square pass finds the on-loan Barcelona player but he scuffs his shot wide.

    That should have been 1-0.

Adama Traore drops a shoulder before delivering a good cross in from the right. He finds Raul Jimenez but the striker can't direct his header on target.

The Wolves fans haven't stopped singing all game. It is said a million times but so good having a proper atmosphere in stadiums again.

Anyone thinking Ronaldo will be horrified by the performance doesn't understand his ego. He will be thinking I am the difference, I am the game changer, give me the ball and I will prove it...

A first shot on target in this half I believe and it comes from the boot of Fred. A fairly routine save for Jose Sa but a hint that Manchester United are starting to get on top of things now.

    Wolves 0-0 Man Utd

Well the tempo of the first half - or at least the first 20 minutes or so - isn't present so far in this half with Manchester United not giving Wolves any chances to break at the moment. It isn't making for a particularly enthralling spectacle but it is all very even so far.

No surprise seeing this change, Cavani coming on, it was a matter of who he replaces. Dan James or Jadon Sancho - neither have made a mark on this game.

They have a target man now.

Brilliant from Trincao. After a good passage of play by the hosts he knocks the ball past Harry Maguire and races around the defender to get into the box but his cross is deflected behind for a corner.

    Wolves 0-0 Man Utd

    John Acres

Traore's most effective period was when he was providing assist after assist for Raul Jiminez before Jiminez' injury last season.

He would power to the byline and measure in a chipped cross, Jiminez would know what was coming and would run in and power in the header.

They need to try and get him into those positions. He's been found central a lot, where he looks hesitant, which you would be if you'd missed the one-on-ones he has this season. They need to get him to the byline, creating for Jiminez.

An early corner for Manchester United after good work by Jadon Sancho. Luke Shaw sends the ball in but Conor Coady gets his head onto it first.

Wolves have been terrific. Wolves fans are so excited about what they've seen so far, but there has to come a point where they score.

Adama Traore is an enigma, he has to get that end-product. It's one thing lighting up a game like that, but unless you start really affecting a game, you're not going to be held in as high a regard as you might otherwise be.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

Back under way at Molineux. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's lips are pursed as he looks out onto the pitch. A frustrating game so far for the visitors.

It's been a really good advert for the Premier League - it's had action, tempo, quality, tackles, it's been refereed pretty well. It's had everything except the goal.

Wolves should be very frustrated - you can't dominate a half and have the chances they've created without scoring, top teams will punish you.

  15. 'An unlucky one for us'published at 17:28 British Summer Time 29 August 2021

    FT: Burnley 1-1 Leeds

    Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche, speaking to BBC Sport: “It was pretty pleasing against a tricky Leeds side – they play a different style, a different way. They want to open up the game and make it like a basketball match and I thought we tactically did well today to calm that way of playing down, particularly in spells in the first half but also in the second.

“Then we got our noses in front which at the time I thought was about right and then they nick a goal out of nothing, an unfortunate trip from Charlie Taylor and Ben Mee gets in a great block and it deflects, and that’s the way it goes.

“But overall, tactically certainly I was very pleased with the side – there was just that little spell where we were just on the back foot a little bit but when you’re searching for your first win, that can happen.

“It’s early season, we are working hard as a group, the performance levels have been decent I think – we’ve got to sharpen up at both ends of the pitch but today is an unlucky one with their goal. It was a tight game but I thought we did pretty well today."

On £15m signing Maxwel Cornet, announced earlier on Sunday: “The owner has worked very hard to get that deal to happen so we want him to come and enjoy his football with us, and hopefully push us as well.”

  16. 'Not giving up is a value of the team'published at 17:27 British Summer Time 29 August 2021

    FT: Burnley 1-1 Leeds

    Leeds United

Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa speaking to BBC Sport: “The game was very difficult, very disputed. We at least deserved a draw. If we had scored first, it would have been more accessible for us to win.

“Apart from two segments in the middle of each half, we dominated the play. To play well and create danger, we need our creative players to shine and for our opponents, through set-pieces and through forcing errors and taking advantage, their two centre-forwards managed to create as much danger as we did.

“Every goal you concede generates disappointment, the opponent today managed set-pieces very well and that caused us danger and finally they scored – just because you know the opponents’ weapon does not mean you cannot suffer from it.

“It’s not been a great start. The defeat against Manchester United was a negative performance and the game against Everton and again today, they were games that we should have won if we had improved the defensive quality of our team.

“It’s a value of the team not giving up, to fight, and obtaining less than they deserve but at least drawing."

  17. 'We had controlled the game'published at 17:23 British Summer Time 29 August 2021

    FT: Tottenham 1-0 Watford

    Watford

Watford boss Xisco Munoz speaking to BBC Sport: "I think we can take courage from the players for our plan, they gave a very good performance. We had a good mentality all the game.

"We are improving and want to give better. We know when we play in this stadium the level of the players in front of us. It was a perfect performance from our team, they gave 100%, the only problem was the result.

"I think we had controlled the game [before they scored]. We stopped the space behind and had chances in the transition. It is the moment to continue with the same attitude."

On Troy Deeney's future: "Troy for me is a big legend. He was a very good player. There are questions about him but we need to speak to the board and see what will happen."

  18. Postpublished at 17:22 British Summer Time 29 August 2021

    FT: Tottenham 1-0 Watford

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo speaking to BBC Sport: "We worked hard. The boys have been very committed to our idea on how we want to be. We still have a lot of things to improve, performances help create this atmosphere.

"We go beyond our own limits when we need to. This is what the boys did today. It was a tough game.

"We have a very good group of players. Individually they have their own targets but Son always works for the team.

"We need everybody. Today Harry helped to lift the team a lot. He is improving, he did 90 minutes after playing on Thursday which shows his commitment. We are thankful for the fans being supportive."

On the international break and issues over red-list countries: "We need a solution. It is important for the government to understand the situation. We aware that saying you can't play for the national team is difficult. "

Out of nothing, Man United can suddenly come to life. It was a good ball into Fernandes' feet from Luke Shaw before the whistle there. It's then a brilliant touch into the path of Mason Greenwood, he hits it across the keeper, hard and low, it didn't miss by much. He thinks the keeper got a touch, really good effort.
