Tom Cleverley's first touch is almost an own goal as the ball deflects off his foot from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg's free kick but Daniel Bachmann reacts well to the change in direction to get a hand to the effort and push it behind.

Moussa Sissoko, on his Watford debut, is heading off to applause from all around the ground after a steady display for his new club against his old one. Tom Cleverley replaces him.

It's brilliant from Son, he drives and he's waiting for Harry Kane down his right-hand side. Harry Kane knows - centre-forwards know where they want the ball crossed in. It's cut back to Ali, six yards out, it just goes wide of the post.

A couple of changes as Aaron Lennon comes on for Burnley, replacing Jóhann Gudmundsson, while Jamie Shackleton is on for Leeds with Diego Llorente making way.

Watford make a change as Cucho Hernandez comes on for Joshua King.

The change slightly disrupts the visitors as they look to get into shape and Tottenham almost add a second as Son Heung-min drives forward before feeding Harry Kane. The England striker squares for Dele Alli but he sweeps his first-time shot just wide.

Burnley had a host of chances before this, they deserve the goal.

It fell to Chris Wood about six yards out, he got the shot away and there was nothing Meslier could do about it despite his best attempts.

It's been sluggish at times from Tottenham, despite the quality on show. You want to play with a high tempo, when you go one-nil up, go and make it two or three.

Credit to Watford - they're staying in the game.

Son Heung-min whips the ball in and Davinson Sánchez manages to get a flick on but his effort goes over the bar.

Son Heung-min wanders over to take a Tottenham corner. He gets a nice ripple of applause from the Spurs fans close by, with one straining to try and make him spot his sign saying "Son, can I have your shirt". Bit optimistic to expect to give him that as he goes up to take a corner.

Watford need a spark, they're the ones chasing the game. You look to their bench, can they bring on Cucho Hernandez - he came on and scored an important goal against Aston Villa - they have got options on the bench.

Dwight McNeil charges into space before trying his luck from distance but drags his shot wide.

Rodrigo then becomes the latest player in this game to go into the book as he catches Charlie Taylor.
